[ i found a reason by the velvet underground ]
Lewis adjusted the camera one last time before settling back into his seat, one of his prized guitars clutched tightly. He took a deep breath in, then smiled and waved at the lens.
"Obviously, I sound a lil bit crazy talking to myself but this has an important purpose. I just gotta do this, y'know? So, let me be super sentimental for a minute before I start playing."
He readjusted the guitar, brushing his fingers along a tiny string of letters carved into the neck. "I'm on tour right now and I'm really missing my- my person, y'know? We normally see each other at least twice a week, and I haven't seen that dumb smile in person for like a month."
"And now I'm gonna directly address that one person, so... yeah. Hey, I miss you and your stupid face, and I literally learned one of your favorite songs in like five minutes so I could play it for you. So here's me absolutely butchering a Velvet Underground classic."

[ made in america by waterparks ]
Chase's excuses for everything tended to be blanket statements that didn't pertain to the situation.
"I'm trailer trash, sorry."
"I'm a dumpster baby, remember?"
"I'm an American, dude. I'm fucked and don't really care too much."
Of course, some people (read: Ronnie) didn't allow her to just push away her issues. Although he did find it humorous sometimes.

[ sudden desire by hayley williams ]
(ps i tried learning this song on bass and i got the intro down which yay me)If the tension between him and his best friend didn't find a release soon, it was going to tear them apart.
Lewis couldn't make himself give up on the idea completely, and the further into tour they got, it seemed like Logan was coming to a similar conclusion.
A sudden desire. That's what this whole thing was.
A sudden desire that turned to a blazing fire when they accidentally fanned the flames. Drunken nights definitely cause a shitstorm.

[ paranoia love (quarantine demo) by swmrs ]
Quarantine didn't exactly make life easy for Lewis.
When the shelter in place order came, thankfully he was home. The iffy part was that Z was also with him.
He should've been okay with having his girlfriend there with him. But something was making his chest constrict, and this wasn't a good thing.
Something had felt off within himself for a while now, and one of the last things he wanted to do was face the problem head on.

[ swing life away by rise against ]
(i love this song with my entire heart)Life has a funny way of playing out. Alex had never expected any of this to happen, but now that it had, he'd never trade it for anything.
A content smile crossed his features as he watched his family from the swing on the front porch. His husband and their two children were planting flowers, the kids being typical kids and throwing dirt at each other.
Lewis sat back and wiped sweat from his forehead. "Hey, honey, why aren't you down here with us?" There was a silent plea in his eyes, one that Alex knew very well. 'Control your children. Please.'
At that moment, Alex's phone timer went off, the noise causing the kids to stop squabbling, each with a handful of potting soil. "Cookies are done, guys. Come inside and wash up, okay?"
It only took a few seconds for both kids to dart inside, leaving their fathers outside by themselves. Alex left the porch to help Lewis up, pulling him in for a hug as soon as he was on his feet.
"Your cookies are gonna burn if you don't go turn the oven off," Lewis reminded him, but made no move to let him go.
"Joke's on you," he replied easily. "Cookies are already done. The alarm was just a decoy for the kids."

anyway:
i hit a wall on fixing the 'moonlight' interactive story.
i've downloaded a program for my laptop and i've coded out a little hack and slash rpg from a tutorial, and i might adapt that to turn it into a little adventure game??
or i might use what i've learned with that to add stats to an interactive story. idk yet
if i did use it, i could probably make it so each friend option in moonlight has more interactions and choices, which could unlock a special ending if your friendship points were high enough
