[ i realized that i've been putting out next to no content recently and other than me being my normal hella stressed self, i have no excuse other than i've been playing fallout 3, i've had the game for just over three weeks and i've already logged probably 55 hours between two different saves, and my brother's probably sunk about the same about of time into it.

in other news we have a new kitty in our house and i am full of love for this fluffy little orange and white baby 💕💕💕

To say the least, Antheia is confused when her babysitter opens the door and another person who isn't her dads comes in.

She recognizes him, obviously, because she doesn't live under a rock and her parents bring her to the big meetings where everybody goes. But as to why the big kid they all call Cupid is at her house? She's not sure and she doesn't really want to ask.

But her curiosity gets the better of her, and she clambers to her feet to gently tug on Rosaline's hand. "Miss Rosie? Is he supposed to be here?" She whispers, nerves causing a few stray petals to fall from her.

Rosaline gives her a patient smile, though Thea has the sinking thought that maybe she's one of those people who doesn't like little kids asking too many questions. "He's allowed to be here. It's okay."

"Okie dokie." Thea nods, but something just doesn't feel right about all this. But her dads both said to listen to Miss Rosie and be good, so she just goes back to her stuffed animals.

Thea's normally good playing on her own for a while, and tonight's no exception. She continues her little tea party with as much dignity as a toddler in unicorn footie pajamas can.

Finally, when she's so tired she can barely keep her eyes open, she grabs her two favorite stuffed toys (one from each of her dads; the one from Alex is a little bumblebee Pillow Pet, and the one from Lewis is a bear holding a bouquet of flowers). As soon as she walks into the kitchen, she notices that Rosaline and Isaiah are sitting really close to each other, and it looks like they're drinking some of the stuff her dad keeps in a high up cabinet because kids aren't supposed to have any of it.

Isaiah sees her first, his face slightly flushed as he waves at her. Rosaline turns around pretty quickly, adopting that patient smile again. "Ready for bed?"

Thea nods, and despite every fiber in her little body telling her this is wrong, she solemnly says, "I won't tell on you guys."

The teens are taken a bit off guard, but Rosaline quickly recovers, finishing her drink before standing up and taking Thea's hand.

Getting the child ready for bed isn't hard. It's just supervising her while she brushes her teeth, and making sure her nightlight is on in her room.

Once Thea's tucked in and falling asleep, Rosaline eases the girl's bedroom door shut, then heads back into the living room. It's only a few moments before she's pulling Isaiah close, and kissing him deeply.

Normal teenage relationship things.

This obviously continues for a while, hands roaming because, again, they're teenagers, and even immortal teenagers have to deal with hormones and the urges associated (plus, Rosaline is Ezra's biological daughter). But ten minutes before midnight, she pushes him away, starting to straighten up her appearance.

Just in time, too, because only a few moments later, there's a car pulling into the driveway. Rosaline smooths Isaiah's hair, holding a finger to her smiling lips.

Lewis, once he comes inside, heads immediately to check on his daughter, with only a slight wave in Rosaline's direction. It's Alex who thanks Rosaline, digging some cash out of his pocket to pay her for helping them out. Neither actual adult sees Isaiah, not at first.

"Do you need a ride home?" Alex asks, hanging his jacket up behind the door. "It's no trouble."

Rosaline just smiles and makes a vague gesture behind herself, where Isaiah's still sitting on the couch. "Cupid's going to take me home, he got here just a few minutes before you did."

Alex blinks, but quickly tells him, "Hey, Isaiah. Sorry I didn't see you there. Be careful, guys. Don't do anything dumb."

uhhh

yeah junk

- a thought i had was antheia having an 'imaginary friend' that's actually a tree nymph and when lewis and alex find out that y'know that's an actual child and not a figment of thea's imagination they're like "we can adopt this tree right??"

- even if i don't go through with that one thea would be getting a sibling eventually bc sibling dynamics are a+

- another thought was that all three of the kids (rosaline isaiah and antheia) end up choosing to stop aging at around the same age (maybe early 20s?? late teens??) and then rosaline and isaiah have a situation vaguely reminiscent of logan and lewis or even logan and bailey where antheia just looks up to them a lot and it would get every annoying very quickly

- when thea's older and first starts getting crushes on people she gets kind of paranoid about it like what if harry's just pairing her off with these people as a form of payback for everything lewis put him through when they were young, and it just makes no sense to anyone but her
