[ this isn't necessarily related to these characters but it's part of my growth as a writer tbh. in the eight or nine years i've been writing, there's been a lot of promising concepts i gave up on or deleted or otherwise abandoned. so,,, here's what i remember.

if you like any of these ideas please ?? let me know bc i'm going to make 2020 the year i actually start writing a book

lots of love,

from the grave-

one of the very og lew stories!!
from right around the time i got my own tablet so christmas of 2012 or 2013??

it was about a town where if you died between the ages of like 10-21, and were buried in a certain cemetery, you reanimated like either a month or a year after your death, and it was just like you came back to life.

the kids that reanimated before helped the newly living dig themselves up and acclimated to this new life where you literally had to give up everything you were or you'd die a second time and it was Not A Good Time

i think it originally followed a 14 year old car crash victim, who was dug up by her former friend/crush (who if i remember right was named chase (wow little me could you make your crush/obsession on your friend chase anymore obvious???))

i wish i hadn't deleted this story :(

kit kat and the zombie farm (okay this is a random ass name bc the original never had one)-

this is one that,,, i literally started writing out by hand and then ended up ripping it into pieces and throwing it away lmao

it followed a girl nicknamed kit kat (after the candy bar), her friend/crush cash (again real sneaky you dumb little rat), her cousin jayme (aka my cousin's name but spelled different) and said cousin's boyfriend stark (named after a vampire from some book i was reading at the time)

literally this concept was a zombie apocalypse.

- cash got bit by a homeless dude on his way to hang out with everyone (and at no point did it occur to him to go to the doctor or at least sterilize the wound)
- jayme's little sister got turned into a zombie and?? they decided to keep her in a fuckin storage tote with the lid duct taped on and air holes jabbed in it

- when cash turned, our four main characters were in a pool house and kit kat (being the dumb in love bitch she was), tried to fend him off with a dip net handle and got bit

literally the whole plot of this was going to be the two zombies and the two humans trying to find a cure while also trying to not kill each other

defy—

aka the concept that eventually became 'hellhole'
this is a baby idea from the end of 2014 it's?? so old

originally, this story followed three girls, named hazel, bryony, and flora, in their attempts to break out of the facility holding them and their powers captive.

hazel had like earthquake abilities, bryony literally?? vine girl with chlorophyll skin, and flora is literally just nervous lewis constantly growing flowers and saplings on her skin

(bryony and flora were both chlorophyll kids okie dokie)

and obviously that transition into 'hellhole' wasn't that far of a reach. it was just fleshing out and expanding on the main original premise

superluv-

ew this one is from my dan and phil fanfic phase which i wish i could forget. but i thought the vague idea behind it was cool, even if this never even got an introductory part written

character a is a superhero, and has saved character b (aka one of their bffs) multiple times. a's got a massive crush on b, and when a gets captured while on a mission, it's up to their friends to save them

baby me had some weird concepts but i'm pretty sure this one was ripped from a prompt list and combined with the shane dawson song

vampires will never hurt you—

another dnp originated idea e w
title was taken from a mcr song

vampire 'family' vaguely like the cullens from twilight but it's like the parent vampires just steal young and pretty teens from their families over the decades and turn them, keeping them around by force.

one character originated in 1930s midwest america, and she was a lil cutie tbh her name was jo, she was a little country bumpkin, and she was the second kid taken from her family

i figure one would been from 1920s new york, another from 1980's los angeles, 1970s new york (bonus if it ends up being the other new york kid's great niece or nephew), and like 2000s indiana or something

finally the goal was to have the vampire teens kill the adults, and instead of all going their separate ways afterwards, it would've been all found family y'know

heavydirtysoul—

okay another not original idea but,,, i've kinda adapted the lore and made it my own ig??

the original storyline was our dear alex sells his soul for comic-con tickets and then comes back from hell to find his sister and avoid going back to hell.

our modified storyline (aka the most recent attempt) was just a bit of backstory for 'poacher's pride', aka: a bunch of bullshit

bindweed—

my newest idea !! it's a lil baby idea tho

it could be considered an autobiographical story bc it's literally: 'a writer and their struggles with actually getting inspired and writing'

aka it'd be a mix of day to day fanfictiony life stories (bc i always joke that my life is a bad fanfic) and half-cocked story ideas involving a secondary set of characters (aka the story the writer is trying to write)

idk?? idk if it's actually any good or if it's just the newest idea i've latched on to
