[ i could probably just write this au for the foreseeable future??
like you've got logan and harry's family, ezra and ronnie's, lewis and alex's, then you've got side characters like sierra and nix, elianna, etc
so uh let me know what characters you wanna see and i'll def attempt it.
(i've been doing the math for this and the first couple sections take place about four years after the 'battle', and the last bit is about eight years after)

Really, having known his husband since they were teens, Lewis shouldn't have still been surprised by Alex's impulsiveness.
But, when Alex carried a damn infant carseat into the house, Lewis might've panicked. Just a little bit.
He was just unfastening the straps when Lewis came down the stairs, stopping in the doorway to the living room to loudly whisper, "Alexander Jonathan, what the hell? Please tell me that's not what I think it is, we have nothing ready for a baby-!"
Nothing could dampen the grin on Alex's face as he pulled the cover back over the seat. He reached out for Lewis, pulling him close as soon as he was able. "You know how we've been finding new arrivals every month or so? Well... This one's just a baby, and as far as we can guess, she was a demigod, her mom being the goddess, and got passed the torch as a newborn."
Lewis carefully lifted the cover, a slight gasp escaping his lips. Flowers surrounded the sleeping girl, much like what happened to him constantly. He glanced between the baby and his husband, daring to softly ask, "Is she... y'know... ours?"
"Meet Antheia. Goddess of flowers. And, if you want her to be, our daughter. Obviously we'd have to pick a middle name but I thought just naming her Antheia would be easier for her in the long run." Alex couldn't help reaching to pluck out one of the flowers (a pale pink peony, to be exact) from the carseat. "If you want, we can all go get necessities and supplies and whatever, or I'll go so you can spend time with Thea."
As soon as the words left his mouth, Lewis gave him a quick kiss before turning his attention back to the baby. "Have fun. Drive safe, honey. We love you."
Alex paused in the doorway on his way out, watching as Lewis carefully got Antheia out of the carseat. Then, he cradled her close, murmuring too softly for the words to carry.

When Alex finally got home a few hours later, he found his husband asleep on the couch, the baby laying on his chest. It was getting pretty late, so he made the executive decision to do something Lewis might yell at him for.
Instead of putting together the crib that night, he opted for emptying out a dresser drawer and layering baby blankets in it. If it was okay for him as a baby, it'd have to do for one night. Finally, after he got it secure and balanced on a chair, he went back downstairs.
As soon as Alex picked up Antheia, Lewis blinked open his eyes, panic taking over for a brief moment before Alex cleared his throat.
"I've got her, honey. Relax."
They went upstairs in silence, but as soon as Lewis saw the setup Alex did, he groaned. "Please tell me this is a joke. You're not making our daughter sleep in a drawer."
Alex got Antheia, who was thankfully still sleeping, settled in the makeshift bed. "It's just for tonight. It's not gonna hurt her, I mean that's how I slept until I outgrew the drawer 'cuz my parents were broke teenagers, and I turned out fine."
"First thing tomorrow morning, we're putting the crib together. Promise?"
"I promise, baby."

Things were going really well. It was actually pretty nice.
Once Antheia was old enough that Lewis felt comfortable leaving her with a babysitter (aka about four years old. Lewis was an anxious parent.), he planned a night out for himself and Alex. His first two choices for babysitting (aka Logan and Ronnie) were both busy that night.
Going down the list, he came up with arbitrary reasons against some of the other gods. Sierra and Nix was a big no, because with the power control he'd seen them use, he didn't want his baby anywhere near them without supervision. Elianna, their Poseidon (although he'd heard her introduce herself as Neptune before) was a no because of the whole saltwater thing. Not good for flowers.
Various others were throwaways as well. Fire, lightning, being too scary. Eventually, though, he landed on what should've been the logical choices from the start: Rosaline or Isaiah. Both of them seemed like responsible teenagers, and it's not like Antheia was a difficult kid.
So, that evening, when Rosaline got there, Antheia had a bunch of stuffed animals all over the living room, a select few in chairs around a little table. She smiled and waved, but ultimately turned back to her toys.
Alex grinned when he caught sight of Rosaline, leading her into the kitchen to talk. "So, pretty much all you need to do is get Thea into bed before 10. If she tells you she's hungry, there's fruit in the fridge. She's already had a bath, so please make sure she doesn't get into the potted plants."
Lewis chose that moment to walk in, tucking himself into Alex's side. "You can have anything in here to eat or drink except for the alcohol. We'll be back before midnight, but you're welcome to stay the night here if you want to. And if Ant gives you any problems, just text or call us, okay?"
"Don't worry about us, we'll be fine. You two just need to worry about having a good time."
Rosaline waited until the parents were out the door and gone before pulling out her phone. She dialed a number, and as soon as the call connected, she said, "They're gone, you can come in now."

[ i rlly thought about just continuing this in this part but,,, it's already been a few days since i posted and this is standard length already so
okay i just have to share my thoughts on this.
alex uses the nickname thea for their daughter.
lewis primarily uses the nickname ant.
lewis probably has and probably will continue to lovingly refer to his daughter as 'piss-ant' at least to a point. it's not meant to be mean, idk what a piss-ant actually is but my grandma uses the term to refer to gnats and other itty bitty flying fucks.and then another thing i realized i've never addressed??
so when they got married, i think lewis would've been like "for professional reasons it'd be easier if i just kept my last name"
and alex is just like "cool i'll just,,, take ur last name too"
so,,, they're the williams family lmao]
