1928
At eighteen, Logan should be having fun, going out and meeting people, generally enjoying life. But, thanks to the actions of two undead bastards, he's stuck in this dungeon of a house, with a wannabe Dracula.
At least they've given him a piano, and as many books as he wants. But his freedom is unobtainable. And from what he's been told, even the barest flash of sunlight against his skin could mean the end for him. It's always the little things you take for granted. You'd never expect the sun of all things to be taken from you.

"Please, just let me go!" Lewis begged, moments after waking up in a strange room with two strange guys staring at him. "My family- They're worried sick! I need to go home."
The sharper of the two rolls his eyes, getting up and walking away. "You deal with him, Logan. I'm going out."
"Don't mind Ezra," Logan says gently. "I'm sorry, but you can't leave. You're stuck here now- I am, too."

Early 1999
When Chase was taken, she was lucky enough to have had a bag of her personal belongings, which was given back to her just a few days afterwards.
Since her new 'brothers' are all practically old men, she takes it upon herself to teach them a little bit about normal life circa 1998. Lewis and Logan, at least, want to learn.
She invites them into her room one night, the contents of her bag and the products of her robbing her victims spread out across her bed, a couple strange devices sitting out as well. She picks one up, along with a rectangle of plastic, slowly explaining.
"This is a cassette tape. And this-" she waves the device a bit, "-is a Walkman. You can listen to music with it. I figured since you're both obsessed with the radio and the record player and the piano and stuff, I'd scavenge around for a couple more of these. And since I'm a good fake sister, I got a big selection of tapes to listen to. And I even sorted things out a lil bit so you've each got some I thought you'd like."
Logan, the more adventurous of the two, takes the device Chase offers, and with her guidance, puts on the headphones and presses 'play'. While he listens, he sorts through the tapes right in front of him. Mostly classical, swing music, and jazz.
Lewis looks overwhelmed, even as Chase puts the headphones on him. Logan gives him a thumbs up, but it does little to soothe his nerves. But, as dumb as it sounds, the tape she chose to play for him felt like home. (It's a bluegrass tape, which she picked because of where he's from. Goddamn redneck bullshit.) His collection of tapes is mostly country and bluegrass, with one labeled 'Dude Ranch' by blink-182.
Chase shrugs at that one. "I dunno. I haven't listened to it but by the title I thought it might be somethin' Farm Boy would like."
Logan pauses the tape, then sets the Walkman aside to look through some of the other tapes. He gets through a few (Vanilla Ice, Kid Rock, and Blondie), before Chase grins and shoves another into his hand. "I found this one on a kid yesterday. It's from a band called Better Than Ezra and I'm so gonna put it in Ezra's room."

Lewis helps Bailey get settled, considering he's the mildest of the eternal teens to be around. Chase is too loud, Ezra's just... too much, and Logan's physically intimidating. Lewis is... He's kind of on the shorter side, having missed a growth spurt, and he radiates softness.
Bailey's been on the verge of tears since he woke up, but it's not until they're in his room that he actually breaks down, using that otherworldly brand new vampire strength to hold on to Lewis as he cries.
Finally, he falls asleep (A common misconception being that vampires don't sleep; They can and most definitely will, but they don't require the rest.), and Lewis slips out of the tight embrace. He pulls the bright blue jacket off of the boy, followed by taking off his shoes.
Once Bailey is tucked safely into bed, Lewis puts his shoes over by the door. Digging through Bailey's jacket pockets, he starts setting out what few belongings he's got. His wallet, a pack of gum, a small bottle of hand sanitizer.
There's a weird rectangle, around the size of a cassette tape, with buttons all over it. (Which, ps, you'd be proud to note that thanks to Chase and her thieving ways, they've pretty much moved on from cassettes to CDs and stolen .mp3 players.) While he's inspecting it, it suddenly starts to make a shrill noise and vibrate.
Unfortunately, the sudden noise makes him shriek, dropping the device and sending the back of the plastic casing flying on impact with the ground.
Bailey stirs slightly, mumbling out, "It's just my cellphone, don't be 'fraid of it."
Whatever the hell this 'cellphone' is... Lewis wants nothing to do with it.
