Part 17 My Relationship with Connor

In my second year of Life skills I met Connor McMahon and to be honest I didn't even notice him at the beginning it wasn't until that Wednesday came along where I was stood with George and this other lad and George was talking to Connor "I'm saving up to buy a CD from Derek" said Connor my head just whipped round "DEREK" I said quite surprised "yeah you know him?" said Connor "know him he's my ex that speaks to me like shit and doesn't acknowlege me in the slightest" I said "he does Shay" said George and I looked at him as if to what you on but I did say "George shut up he treats me like shit to impress his lass" and Connor turned to me and said "Her with the blue hair (another girl that's as famous as Katy Perry for having blue hair well at college LOL)"  "yeah he's still with her" I said and when I got in from College I got a friend request from Connor and Connor was texting me asking stuff if I smoke (Why would I smoke eugh), he made me feel good he told me that he thought I was fit and that made me happy but I didn't respond to any other messages and on the last day of induction week the Friday I remember being sat in the Common Room and just chilling with friends then I turned round cos I heard this shouting and all that going on and after this lad went up the escalator I followed Connor and said "Connor hold on you don't mind me being with you do you?" Connor stopped walking and turned round "No don't mind you don't worry" I just walked with him to calm him down on the second lesson I was in I was in with Connor and we were making masks and Connor were making me laugh and I thought he was a cute lad "I can't draw for shit me" after he'd drawn the outline of the mask I was just laughing and on the second break me and Connor were sat on a wall outside and a few of his mates were around and me and Connor were playing about and I had his hand in my hand then after his mates had gone in I was putting my forehead close to his and talking to him and Connor turned to his mate and said "I can't go out with her I have a girlfriend so I dunno what to do" and I remember this may seem kind of horrid but I said "fuck her and go out with me". When we got back to lesson Connor was still making me laugh "if you fancy me Shayleigh ask me out" said Connor and I was like well you ask me then I just took a deep breath "will you go out with me?" I asked Connor smiled and said "yeah course I will" and I was happy again I remember Connor going over to one of the Teaching assistents and saying "I go out with her" that smile on my face was the biggest I've had ever since me and Derek were together but I could tell and so could my mum that Connor liked me.
