"Hurry ya ass up before we miss our flight!!" My cousin Serenity yelled causing me to sigh.
"I'm coming damn!!" I yelled pulling my luggage down the stairs. When I finally got downstairs Serenity, Monica, and Courtney was downstairs waiting on me.
"It's about damn time." Courtney scoffed. She was my best friend and has been my A1 since day 1 along with Monica. Although we all met in 9th grade time didn't make us any closer.
"You only 24 but you moving like you 78." Monica laughed and I rolled my eyes. We walked outside and got in her boyfriend's truck while he loaded my luggage inside.
"You guys excited?!" Courtney cheered and I nodded and sighed as Daniel got in the car and proceeded to drive off. "Hey you need this vacation boo, you've been through a lot and I think it's time for you to enjoy yourself." She smiled. I got on facetime and called my baby daddy so I could talk to my son.
"Hi mommy!" He smiled show casing his silver teeth once the phone connected.
"Hi baby, what you doing?" I smiled."Daddy took me to get ice-cream now we going to the park."
"Oh wow what flavor did you get?"
"I got cookie and cream that's my favorite."
"Oooo, no that's my favorite."
"No it not, it's mine mommy, you copied me." I busted out laughing.
"Well you have fun, I'm going to call you once I get off the airplane okay."
"Okay mommy, I love you."
"I love you too baby boy." I smiled and Jayceon got on the phone.
"Sup baby mama, you on your way to the airport?"
"Yes sir, please take care of my baby."
"I know how to care for my child Treasure."
"Mhmm." I chuckled and looked at my nails.
"Don't be out there thotting and bopping either."
"Boy, I can do what I want, I'm single."
"That's what you think."
"No that's what I know, ya lost all of this when ya ass cheated again." He scoffed and shook his head.
"You have a safe trip baby momma I'll talk you later."
"Okay kiss my baby for me." He laughed and hung up.
"Ya baby daddy missing that Kat." Serenity laughed and I shrugged.
"He should have thought about that before he went and acted like he could be in two relationships." I rolled my eyes. Jayceon and I was together for 7 years since senior year of high school. He was my first and my only and I got pregnant with JJ when I was 19 going on 20. Jayceon ended up leaving me while I was pregnant and swore up and down there was no one else and when we got back together after JJ was born I found pictures of him and his girlfriend. Welp long story short, last year I found out he was messing with the same girl again and I just called it quits, fed up because it took me what felt like forever to trust him again and he just fucked that all the way up. I wasn't about to be a typical baby mama that always ran back to they baby daddy, I was done. I would always have love for Jayceon but I don't see myself in a relationship with him again.
"I can't believe yo job let you off for a couple of weeks."
"Oh trust me I had to beg they ass!" I laughed. "I just used my PTO. Now that I'm a supervisor I have more and I have a lot so."
"Y'all don't get busy in the summer?"
"Just in June. July is a ghost town. I'm almost done at that damn job. I just got one more semester of school and then I'm out of that bitch like a crack head on fire." We all started laughing.
