"When are you going on maternity leave?"

"Next week. I have to be on bed rest because I had complications last pregnancy."

"Well you ain't gotta worry about shit over here. Imma have everything under control."

"Thanks JahJah." I smiled.

"You coming to the wedding?"

"It's an open bar, of course I'm coming to that hoe." I laughed and shook my head. I rung up a few more customers before I went in the back to sit down and eat. I answered a few texts before looking over Daves text.

I closed out my phone and FaceTime Mama Lisa

I closed out my phone and FaceTime Mama Lisa. She insisted on keeping all of the kids today so I wanted to see how she was doing.

"Hey child?"

"Hey how's it going?"

"I'm about to wake them up from a nap."

"They napped?" I asked shocked.

"Nana, got that special sauce." She smiled. She probably out here drugging my babies like Dave. I caught his ass slipping night quill in the juices like he was slick. My poor babies started dropping like flies.

"Acting like yo son."

"Y'all talked?"

"Nope."

"I understand stand baby doll but that is your husband, you can't ignore him forever."

"I know." I said softly. "I'll call you later."

"Be back soon. You need to rest." I nodded and hung up before she could fuss some more. My phone started ringing and I declined it before walking back out to the store.

"Can we take a picture with you?" A customer asked with her friends. I nodded and took the picture with them.

I continued working as my mind drifted off to what I seen on Instagram. Hurt couldn't even begin to describe what I felt. I didn't wanna assume anything but it was hard not to.

"I'm about to go JahJah, I gotta get the kids ready for school."

"Okay Giggles, text me when you get home." I made a face and she started laughing.

I walked outside and got in my car before driving off. I listened to some music to remind myself I'm still that bitch through anything.
