"Childish?! I'm not being fucking childish. He's the one in the wrong!"
"And he tried apologizing." I put my hand up.
"I don't wanna hear it." I continued drawing out my plans for the building. A designer was coming today and I wanted to have everything ready.
"Hey cousin, I finished my piece." She walked out the bathroom and showed me. I smiled and nodded. "What's wrong baby?"
"Yo stubborn ass cousin." I rolled my eyes.
"She has every right to be mad."
"I understand that baby, but she can at least talk to the man."
"It ain't our business." He huffed and walked outside. A couple of minutes later, the designer walked in. We discussed everything that we wanted done to the shop. She told me she couldn't wait to finish it up because with the big amount of space she was working with, it was going to be beautiful. We shook her hand and she left out. I gathered my belongings and felt a presence behind me. I didn't even have to turn around because I could smell his cologne.
"What you want?" I heard the door so I assumed Serenity walked out.
"For you to stop being tight with me." I rolled my eyes and grabbed my purse. I proceeded to walk off but he grabbed me. "Come on baby what you want me to do, I said I was sorry."
"Sorry?! You came in my house fucking tripping on somebody that's fucking gay and it showed me that you haven't been taking your medicine!"
"How was I supposed to know he was gay?! Nigga head was all on your lap and shit! I'm only allowed to do that shit!!"
"You supposed to trust me!! Why would I cheat on you when the shit has happened to me numerous of times?!" He scratched his head.
"I don't give a fuck, you don't need no male friends." He shrugged.
"You selfish as fuck! You got bitches as friends but I don't bother you!" He licked his lips and looked away. "Why haven't you been taking your medicine?"
"Shit slipped my mind."
"Well you can talk to me when it stop slipping." I walked out the building and headed to my car. I had an appointment to finally take this damn boot off permanently and I was excited.
"You ready Serenity?"
"Yeah come on."
"Let Dave drive you."
"Bully."
"Come on. Both of y'all was doing all that damn whining about not seeing each other and now he here. It's been three days Treasure, talk to yo man." I rolled my eyes and went to sit in my car. Dave walked up and got in on the drivers side.
"Keep playing."
"You can get out my car."
"And who go drive?"
"I can leave this bitch here and take an uber." I crossed my arms and he smacked his lips. I put in the location on my GPS and he drove off.
