After brushing his teeth quickly, he hurriedly rinsed and set down his toothbrush, eager to fall in to a much needed deep slumber.
But with a strange zombie at that.
"Are you already in my bed, zombie?" Jimin asked inquisitively.
He was ready to hear a story about the zombie's past, but not quiet as excited about sharing a bed for the night with a flesh-eating undead body.
As skilled as he was in fighting, he was still human, and had the fear of not waking up the next morning, friends mourning over the loss of a great person over something he did to himself.
He could already see it now.
But he quickly pushed those thoughts away and padded over to his bedroom, opening the door and closing it once he was in, and making way to the comfort of his bed.
The zombie was looking directly at Jimin, confused, as it had no previous idea of sharing its past life with him, but going along with the human's curiosity it decided it would.
"Sto-ry?"
"Yeah. We need to know more about you and your 'kind' so They wouldn't get the wrong idea about you and kill you." Jimin responded, still wanting to hear more about its past.
Climbing in bed, Jimin lifted the covers over himself, painfully aware of the close proximity of the undead being lying right next to him.
And, for some reason, as the sun was setting, the casting light of the orange and pink setting from the window reflected on the undead being, causing it to look alive.
Upon seeing this, Jimin's heart fluttered slightly, his vision letting in the sight of the beauty of this being next to him. And for some reason, any fear he might have had while laying next to it, dissipated into nothing.
Feeling this tingling feeling in his chest, Jimin questioned what it was, but he thought for sure that he wasn't what he thought it was, affection for the being, growing.
Realizing that he was thinking of this, Jimin quickly turned off the soft glowing light from the lamp on the bedside table, eliminating any man-made light hitting the zombie.
He directed his thoughts away from these feelings he didn't know he had, to something that would benefit their current situation, the zombie's story, it's past and how everything started.
"Could you... tell me how you got bit? How everything... started?" Jimin asked, trying to make sure the being by him didn't feel pressured to.
Realizing this may have been a sensitive issue, Jimin glanced over, seeing the hesitation in its eyes.
Yikes. He'll have to tread lightly on this subject, seeing as how it's reacting like this.
But as soon as he glances over once more, he doesn't see it there, hearing the zombie breathing ever so slightly, like it hasn't been breathing for a while.
"I-i... ca-an..." Was all Jimin heard amidst nothing but silence.
"Can you... start with... how you got bit?" He asked, pressingly lightly into the matter.
A moment of silence enveloped them again before the zombie spoke.
"I-i... wa-as n-near... my...h-house. G-going t-to... wo-ork. S-strange m-man... n-near... b-bit me." Was all it could get out before it's breathing problem became too much.
As Jimin heard ragged breathing coming from his left, he realized how hard it must have been to speak, seeing as the zombie was having a hard time breathing and speaking.
Judging from how the zombie was behaving, he realized he should give the zombie a break, a chance to relax before delving deeper, learning more about the zombie before him.
Yes, he wanted to know more, but he knew limits when he saw them.
How would he react when he heard it? Would he be able to help in any way?

Hows this one? Please let me know.
Till the next💜💜
