As Jimin stepped into the darkness after Jungkook stumbled inside, he had to stop and let his eyes adjust to the sudden change in light filtering through the dark.
"Woah... what happened here?" Jimin questioned, shocked at what he saw.
Inside the decaying cement door frame, he saw clipboards, pens and white lab gowns strewn around the floor, littering every inch of the blood stained floor.
It was horrible, everything that he saw.
The floor littered with everything, clipboards and such, but then he let his eyes wander...
At the corner where the hall turned, there lay the body of a hideously disfigured body just sitting there, guts torn out, blood dry in random patches on the floor surrounding the body.
Oh god...
Jimin thought, gag reflex kicking up at the rancid smell permeating the air of the hall, light very dimly flickering at the loss of power surging through the system in the building.
"Yah! Where are you guys!" Jimin yelled.
He knew no zombies would be here, because Minha and Tae would've killed them by now.
...Well, besides Jungkook.
He was a different story.
As he stood there, listening for proof that they hadn't ditched him, he turned his head, only to find Jungkook once again absentmindedly walking and stumbling everywhere.
Maybe he was taking things in remembering everything that happened to him...
Focusing on the task at hand, Jimin began wandering, grabbing Jungkook's hand so he would lose the zombie, and dragging him with further into the dilapidated structure.
Wandering on and on, he'd finally ran into the rest that had been gawking at what looked like huge test tubes for rats...
But, they were humans...
WHAT??
What was happening here?
All of the tubes had bodies inside them, limbs flowing freely in a liquid with the same color as the vial Minha had taken in her body.
"I see your figuring things out." Minha suddenly spoke, causing Jimin to jump, clutching at his heart.
"Y-yeah... this, this is horrific... what happened here?" Jimin began, stuttering at the scene displayed in front of him.
"Well, to figure that out... we need to go through all the files in here. Maybe we'll find something to do with the explosion." Minha stated.
Something seemed off with her right now...
"Why don't you seem taken aback?" Jimin asked Minha, curious why she didn't seem as startled as he did.
"It's because I'd suspected something like this going on behind closed doors. You kind of just expect the worst after being here so long." Minha stated, wandering towards some broken down, rusted metal drawers.
"Let's look through these, c'mon. Before someone or something catches us." Minha said, using the ends of her sleeves to open the top drawer.
She didn't want to cut her hand and become the undead.
"Y-yeah..." Jimin went towards Minha "You too, Tae. Your not escaping this." Jimin finished, grabbing Tae by his wrist and tugging him over where they both stood.
"Sorry, just taking everything in." Tae muttered quietly.
As soon as Tae had stood by them both, they began looking through documents Minha had given them, scoping through every word and paragraph, deciphering what everything meant.
Until Jimin, of course, had stumbled on a document that he'd flipped over, examining the words that unsettled him.
"#K-56 Plant explosion"
He wondered what the K meant, but upon further inspection of the document, he discovered something terrible about how and why the plant exploded how and why it did.
He connected the dots until a bigger picture formed.
He kept reading the document, wondering if any names would be stated in the article.
But nonetheless, no names were revealed, keeping the name withheld for privacy.
But he knew one thing...
All those dots connected, leading him to believe it was that man.
