Chapter 70: Findings

As Jimin, Minha, Tae and Jungkook started making their way back to the sanctuary, of course avoiding the giant horde of flesh eating beings, they all began to speculate and throw out theories about what may have and could have happened.

At first, Tae had started, going on about how he thought that the government was up to something, but had been completely shut off by Minga, who had began to state that she was injected with something that made her a somewhat odd, almost unheard of, combination of human and zombie.

But not your run-of-the-mill, ordinary zombie.

She had been a mix of all various sorts of zombie and human genes, messing up her human DNA and complexities.

But that also had been disregarded by Jimin, who had claimed that, as far as he could tell, everything may have been caused by the gate man and maybe something that had happened to someone he had known and had felt the need to get revenge on someone by something that had happened somewhere along the line.

After a while of them walking endlessly, they'd come to a stop, an abrupt halt as they'd all looked up from the gravel road leading into the grassy grounds.

"What do you think they're doing inside right now?" Tae had asked suddenly, questioning at what they may possible be telling the gate man to do or say.

"Well, there's always the chance of them questioning him until he's knocked out cold from an intense beating." Jimin stated, Minha shaking her head in agreement.

"They could also be just questioning him, threatening to end his life if he doesn't give in. They would also want to know the whole story of everything, how it all began." Minha started, switching glances between the three of them, Jungkook standing adjacent to her.

After waiting for what seemed like hours, they had finally been let in, mainly because the guards that were supposed to be tending to their spots, doing their jobs, had been walking back to the gates, finally realizing that they had jobs they were supposed to be doing.

As the guards on the other side had opened the gate using levers on the sides, they began walking inside, washing their eyes around the familiar environment of their sanctuary.

"Hey.... you were at the plant. Your name was Suga, right?" Tae started, stopping in front of him, waiting for an answer.

"Yes. That's me." Suga replied nudging his gun inward, gesturing them to step inside more so they could close the gate.

"What happened with the other man? The one that you and Jhope brought back?" Tae asked, hoping to get an answer, even if it was classified.

"Nothing. Can't tell you, otherwise my job will be taken from me. I need the job. Now go." Suga stated, face stone cold as he spoke to Taehyung.

"Aw, come on!!! You've gotta tell me!!" Tae blabbed, attempting to get Suga to spill the info on the gate man.

"Seeing as I won't be guarding much longer, I'll tell you." Suga started, watching anticipation blook on Tae's excited face.

"Pretty please!!!" Tae cried.

"Yes. We carried him into the interrogation room inside. It's on the left. You can't miss it." Suga stated, trying not to give too much information on the gate man that had caused so much.

"Thank you!!!" Tae cooed sweetly, watching something along the lines of a smile bloom on Suga's face, light blush creeping over his face.

He had then turned around to find his friends half the distance away from him that they were earlier.

"Guys!!! Wait up!!!" Tae cried, jogging to catch up to the three still heading onward, in to the safety of the sanctuary.

They had no idea of what to expect.
