After making their way to the store to settle down, camp for the night, they slumped down and sighed out of fatigue.
The sun started setting, it's golden rays giving hope to what could have been a new day tomorrow.
Grabbing their tent they needed to pitch before dark fell, they kept an eye on the zombie, making sure it didn't run off as they were getting the tent sent up.
"It's a good thing we're settling down for the night." Jimin said, breaking the minute of silence that fell between them, watchful eye over the zombie.
"Mhm. Let's just get this done so we can get the fire going, get some food in us." Tae mumbled, trying not to piss Jimin off again.
After they'd gotten to the dilapidated building, they'd looked inside from the windows, checking for any stragglers that might be left.
"I think it's ok to go inside now. Plus it is starting to get cold, so let's get the tent set up." Tae said, breaking the sudden silence that had overtaken the building.
After their back and forth conversation about the tent and it getting cold and dark out, they decided to finally gather everything and decide what to start on first.
Once they'd gotten everything set up, they were dead tired, thirsty and hungry.
So they decided in agreement to get their small dinner for the night started.
Jimin grabbed two small pots, one for beans (a common staple), and one for just plain chicken noodle soup (I had to), some mini ladles for both the foods, small metal bowls, and two mini glasses for a beverage they might bring.
Setting them all down in that order, Jimin began opening both cans, pouring the contents in, and getting a fire started with a forgotten-until-now lighter that had been sitting in the way bottom of the bag.
Jimin noticed Tae and the zombie just sitting on the ground. Of course, Tae had been playing atound with the zombie, gesturing all sorts of weird things in front of it's face to see if it would notice, and boy, it did.
It quickly grabbed Tae's two fingers and bit down hard, but not enough to break the skin.
"Tae, can you please stop sticking your fingers in it's mouth. Make yourself useful and get us some clean water from somewhere." Jimin said, beginning to stir the contents in both pots.
"Of course, master. But I believe you know whose fingers should be in the zombie's mouth right now." Tae responded, groaning as he stood up, looking around for a source of clean water, like a hose or river.
He then mumbled a 'stay here' to the zombie, guesturing to his eyes, then to the zombie's and back.
After which, he walked off into the dark.
...
It had been maybe a good five minutes since he'd been gone, and Jimin had already felt a weird presence in the air.
So he decided to call out.
"Tae? You there?"
Just then, he heard gravel crunch around him.
"Who's there??" Jimin called out, sneaking glances all around him, hopeful it was just Tae playing a prank on him.
Crunch. Crunch.
"Yah!! Who's there!! Come out now, and no one gets hurt!!!" Jimin yelled, threatening the unknown presence.
"Woah there... calm down there, buddy." Said a girl stepping out of the shadows, slowly apporoaching him.
"Don't worry about your buddy, he's safe. No walkers in this area. He's at a stream nearby, so no worries." The girl said before Jimin could even get so much as a word out.
Dumbfounded, Jimin decides to ask what her name is, and why she's out here alone, in the middle of nowhere.
After a second of silence, Tae finally walked back.
"What did I miss?" Tae said, pooking at the unknown person.
"I'm Minha."
......
