Chapter 43: Relation

As Minha had finished telling the two about her backstory, about everything that had happened to her, she'd noticed how engrossed in her background Tae and Jimin were.

They had looks of shock and remorse on their faces - except, the zombie looked almost sad at what the human female had said.

Are we related? Jungkook had thought, eyes gazing sadly over at Minha, who also looked very sad after glancing at the zombie.

"So, wait. Does this mean you guys are related somehow? Because your eyes are the came color blue. That could only be because of the shot they'd given you when you were younger." Jimin questioned.

"Just because their eyes are the same color doesn't mean they're related, dummy." Tae mocked, but with a cute kiddish tone.

"Tae, of course I know that. I just wanted to make sure. Because they could've been related from before accident happened." Jimin responded, eyes wondering to the zombie in assurance that it hadn't wandered off.

"Chimmy... how could they be if they haven't even seen each before the accident happened." Tae argued, watching Jimin's eyes reeling over the Jungkook for the nth time tonight.

"I don't know, Taehyung. Maybe their parents separated before it all happened. You never know nowadays, especially since the plant had blown up. Everyone rushed off to find shelter. They could've been left to the dust, maybe that's why, if, their hypothetical parents separated before everything." Jimin said, slightly panting from the air being sucked out of him.

"He's right," Minha started "we could be related somehow without knowing it. But I doubt it. Maybe we just have similar infections, and that's why our eyes are the same color." Minha finished.

Minha had glanced over to the spaced out zombie, who'd just been lying there ever since she started talking.

Thinking about it more, maybe the two were related somehow.

Maybe, if they were the bring Minha to Jungkook's bite spot, she would remember something, or at least recall something happening.

But, how were thetly to know where she'd have been when everything went to shit?

"Minha?" Jimin decided to ask her.

"Yeah?" Minha replied.

"Do you by any chance remember where you were when everything went down?" Jimin asked, curiousity bubbling around the edges.

"If you did, we could go there, and see if anything they gave you there is similar to what the zombie has." Jimin continued.

He knew that if she'd be able to remember where the place was, they could track down where everything started, even before the plant blew up.

"I mean, I could try and lead you there, but that place has a lot of creepy things inside. When I was there, I remember there being a room I could never enter. Why, I have no idea. But I bet it's because there was something in there they didn't want me to see." Minha continued "So, I could bring you guys there, help you guys discover why our eyes are the same color, but there would be a lot if things that would shock us, me included. I have no idea what's in there."

"That would be great if you could bring me, Tae, and the zombie there. The downside would be that it's somewhat far away from our current position, so it would take us a while. But if everyone's up for it, we'll all go." Jimin said, looking for approval in all the faces surrounding him. The zombie as well, but it's not like Jungkook would mind.

After all, he wanted to know where everything started.

"By raise of hands, who all wants to go check this place out, even though there may be horrible things that happen and have happened before. Are we willing to take that risk?" Jimin asked, looking for hands being raised.

Would they all decide this was worth it?

Protect Jungkook from Them?
