Chapter 78: Confession

As the judge had said this, Jimin had heard just enough, even with the judge talking lowly, voice a quiet whisper amongst the quiet hum of voices, Jimin had still been able to hear it.

"NO, YOUR HONOR!!! YOU CAN'T TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ME, FROM US!!!" Jimin had yelled amongst the quiet yammering of the people sitting witness, breaking the quiet conversation of the two conversing.

This had broken away the attention from the two of them to Jimin, snapping their heads quickly in response to the loud noise intruding in on their conversation about what to do with the half human-zombie being in amongst the others in the room.

"Oh? And why shouldn't we? It seems as though he could cause great harm and possibly transfer his illness to others. That wouldn't be beneficial in any way and you know that." The judge responded to his yelling, face holding a quizzical sort of look.

"Be-because!! He... may not be fully human, but I've seen just how sensitive and humane he can be!!!" Jimin almost barked back, but but keeping himself in check so the judge wouldn't decide further on taking and keeping the zombie-human hybrid for further interrogation and studying.

"Oh, and how might you have seen such humanity in this... being?" The judge inquired, eyes shifting unknowingly to Jungkook, who had had a weird expression on his face from the odd accusations and people in the room.

And it was right then and there that the room went completely silent, room turning starkly quiet in anticipation for Jimin's answer about what it was that made Jungkook start turning back human and what made him more humane than any other thing he could think of.

"It... it happened when I told him I loved him..." Jimin began, watching the judges eyebrows lift in shock and surprise at such an unexpected answer the other had given him.

"And how is that turning him back into human? I'm sorry, I just don't see how that can change someone like... him." The judge stated, obviously not pouring into the belief that Jimin was trying to bring him into.

As Jimin stated that and had gotten a questionable statement from the judge, he'd noticed the many looks of disbelief written over everyone's faces, curious as to who they should belief about the situation at hand, morally or not.

Jimin had decided that if he wanted to make the judge believe him, he would have to say that Jungkook had said he loved Jimin and kiss him afterword as visual proof, that somehow, stating and doing such an action would make them see just how Jungkook is changing and had changed within the short amount of time that he'd spent with the group.

So in decision, Jimin had quickly turned towards Jungkook who had in turn look right back at him.

"Jungkook... I love you." Jimin had stated, loudly enough for the judge and witnesses to hear him say this and see how much life had seeped into him, making his irises bigger and skin turned warmer.

Jimin had in turn witnessed the reaction happening as he'd stated his feelings out loud for everyone to hear,  and had grabbed Jungkook's chin, bringing him in for a kiss.

The judge hadn't expected any of this, so he had been surprised and shocked to hear and see this happening in front of his eyes.

'Great,' Jimin thought. 'Now it's time for the real show.'

In reality, this would be Jimin's second kiss with the zombie.

In preparation to the kiss he was about to bestow, Jimin had inhaled very deeply, enough so he could calm his racing heart and steady his unstable mind from everything that was currently happening.

He'd gone in.
