Chapter 14: Help

Jimin was busy dragging Tae along with him down the gravel road during the previous trips he'd taken himself, including the one with the zombie dragging him with it.

"Its going to hurt me Jimin!!!"

"No, Tae. It wont... you're just overreacting. Besides, look at me. I spent the night at that place, and do you see bite marks or hear any whines or complaints from me? No. Suck it up." Jimin said, trying to convince his best friend that nothing bad would happen.

Or at least, he hoped so... considering he did hurt it just so he could escape.

Jimin really did hope the zombie hadn't held any grudges, as it could help the humans figure out how zombies could possibly benefit humans in the future.

That is, if it didn't get startled from them and hide because it saw someone that it didn't approach before, coming close to it and alarming it, possibly even pulling in other zombies somehow.

"Jimin... I know it already, it won't hurt me. It's just the primal fear running through my veins. Besides, you've made a perfectly good example of not being bitten or anything... so I guess I'll have to trust you on this."
Tae said, hoping that if he sugarcoated his words, Jimin would let him go back.

But Jimin wouldn't let that happen.

"Taehyung. I see what you're doing. Don't even try sweet talking your way out of this, because it's not gonna happen." Jimin said, knowing what his best friend was trying to accomplish.

"Fine. I'll go see your zombie boyfriend."

"Tae!!! I'm serious!"

"And so am I!"

With those last words leaving Tae's mouth, Jimin turned his head away from him and blushed like mad, because somehow, he felt like Tae's statement was somewhat true.

He knew it couldn't be, because it was a zombie and he was a human.

But what if the zombie started catching feelings?

He really hoped the zombie wasn't, because that would make things just that much harder.

After a while of the two walking, Jimin spotted the building he was in a night before.

"Here it as."

"This is where it held you hostage at?"

"It didn't hold me hostage, it just... kept me here for the night. I have no idea why, but it did."

"Because it likes you."

"Tae, stop. It can't. It's a zombie, and they don't have feelings."

"You never know. Especially since it's you its after. You are pretty damn hot you know."

"Shush!! Stop talking!! I think I hear something."

With that, Jimin gestured his finger to his mouth, signaling his friend to be quiet.

Jimin took away his finger from his mouth, and pointed towards the building they were at.

"Look... the door's open. It might be in there. Then we can hold it down onto the chair I was in that had the shackles...'

"Ooooh... shackles huh?" Tae said, making his perverted face he normally does.

Jimin knew he would react like that, so he just faced his head forward and rolled his eyes, ignoring the comments Taehyung was saying.

"Tae... seriously."

"Jimin... seriously"

Jimin ignored him and took hold of his hand, leading him inside the building where the door was open.

After turning a few corner like he did before, there was the figure Jimin knew...

Just standing there, peering back at them. Nothing more, nothing less.

Jimin then attempted to walk towards it, it walking back each step, unknowingly backing into the room Jimin was previously in.

After it stumbled back onto the chair he was in before, Jimin tightened the shackles around its wrists and ankles, making sure everything was sound and secure before they proceeded with anything else.

"Alright, Tae. I'm gonna need you to keep and eye on the shackles while I find some paper to write down some questions I want to ask it. Along with a writing utensil as well."

"Alright. But are you sure this is going to work? Won't it just not answer?"

"No... I'll find a way to making it answer. That it, if it comes down to it."

Jimin and Tae had no idea how the zombie would answer back.
