Plot:
Jimin has been living in a post-apocalyptic world, fighting off zombies threatening to overtake his sanctuary ever since he can remember.
But one night, he and his friends go on a little voyage, far beyond what is considered legal in the time...
After the guards, Suga and Jhope had dashed into the room to capture the unnamed man, they'd sent Jungkook out of the room, who had run very languidly out, still not in full control of his bodies movements.
Upon seeing his bruised and battered face, Jimin had felt instantly protective, chauffeuring Jungkook out of the room, through the tattered hallway, and into another room around the corridor, knowing the guards would take care of the man.
"Jungkook, are you ok???? You look horrible!!" Jimin stated, watching Jungkook swing his eyes downward, almost as if he had felt shameful that he'd let himself get beaten up that badly.
"I-it's o-ok. As... lo-ng a-as your... ok..." Jungkook said, responding to Jimin's caring yet harsh words. He wanted Jimin to be ok, because he loves him.
"Why did you even do that?!? Huh?!? Why would you do that!!! What was your reasoning behind shoving him to the ground!!!!" Jimin snapped, beginning to yell at him because he really, genuinely wondered why Jungkook had charged at the unknown man, even when Jimin could take care of himself.
Because he could and he has protected himself countless times, whether he was with others or not.
He really had no idea.
Then suddenly, he though of the time back in the tent, and the building when they were searching for armor and supplies, when Jungkook had just kissed him like he really held feelings for him or some other unreasonable explanation.
He decided to face his feelings head on, seeing as he could no longer suppress how he felt towards the semi-undead one standing just inches away from him, gazing at him with loving, caring, warm eyes.
"Why did you really do that?" Jimin began, feeling the intensity and impact of the moment between, somewhat caused by the happening in the other room, where he'd just been held against his will by the unnamed man who had told him some very important things.
He realized that he had that information to hold against the man as the guards brought him back to face the uncertain wrath of the boss, Namjoon.
"B-becau-se I l-ove you..." Jungkook stated, staring him straight in the eyes as Jimin glanced into those eyes.
It seemed as though, with Jungkook telling him that he loves him, that he really, genuinely meant it. The confession almost acting like a brutal slap at the thought of him being rejected by Jungkook so many times.
Of course, Jimin had been oblivious most of that time, but as they had spend more time together on their mission, he had actually began to realize that Jungkook truly did feel that way towards him, disregarding the obvious facts of Jungkook attempting to kiss him in the tent the first time, and the second one being in that building where they had been searching endlessly inside the building for their supplies.
And in that moment, it seemed like the confession Jungkook just gave had sunk in, making Jimin realize that he actually genuinely did like Jungkook all this time.
He just didn't want to admit it because his friends had seen his guarded side all this time, and by showing and actually saying that he liked Jungkook had seemed hypocritical of him, considering all those times he'd nagged Tae for going on and on about them being boyfriends and whatnot.
After everything that had happened, Jimin realized it was time he face his own feelings, come clean about how he feels about Jungkook.
So he took a step forward and grabbed Jungkook's jaw, gently bringing it down to kiss him.
Hopefully Jungkook would understand how he felt through his actions, but thought it would be best to reinforce it through words.
"I love you."
