Chapter 81: After

Jimin was panting slightly after he had ran after the two men, wondering ways he could phrase what he had been about to say.

"Jimin-ah!! How's it going? How do you feel after winning that impromptu trial?" Hobi had asked, boisterous as ever. At least as far as Jimin had known him.

Jimin continued catching his breath as he formulated how he was going to ask how everything had turned out the way it did.

"O-oh, I'm good. Glad to win the trial, of course. But I wanted to ask, how did you guys find out about him doing all of that? I mean him getting the plant like it was and how it started?" Jimin asked out of pure curiosity, genuinely wondering how it all came to be.

"Oh," Suga began. "Easy. We just used what was left of the power on our backup generator to use our information database to research who he was and what his background was. And when I say we, I mean Mr. Kim. He's the one who made everyone do the dirty work and totally used Hobi here as bait. That's how he came into this line of work. He was originally the messenger boy for them, but felt the job switch was necessary so he wouldn't feel used anymore." Suga explained, feeling a giant weight being lifted off of his chest.

"Suga!! Careful!! He could hear you!!" Hobi yelled under his breath.

"Back to the main topic. As to how we knew about and dealt with him..." Suga started again. "We, meaning me and Hobi by ourselves ran a background check on him. It was more extensive than what Mr. Kim and his team could do. Once we ran the background check, we were able to find that he had a close friend working in that plant that had been going through a rough patch, a really bad one, and we were able to piece together that he felt deep anger and sadness about his friend," Suga continued explaining. "And about his friend, we also figured out from speculations that he was the one who had broken a lever that controlled the amount of chemicals floating into the air, contaminating it and making everyone sick that way."

"Yeah, and that's how we knew about the gate guy and what he was doing." Hobi stated quickly, eyeing everyone filing out of the room around them.

"So you were able to find all that out just from research?" Jimin inquired. "And do you guys know what's going to happen with the plant? Now that everything's done?" He asked, curious about that outcome.

"Yeah. We know the general outcome of that. We heard from some of the higher ups that they will be demolishing the building and setting up stations outside around the sanctuary gates for those who need help with their health. And those that aren't too far gone, to help turn them back into humans. you can actually sit up on top of the gates to watch it be destroyed if you want, since the building is relatively big, even from where we're situated." Hobi stated, explaining everything about.

As they were talking about this, Jimin was soaking everything in while figuring out if Jungkook was able to get a shot in his arm to turn back into a full-fledged human.

"W-will Jungkook be able to get a shot?" Jimin genuinely asked, worry beginning to eat him up inside.

"Oh, yeah. I don't see why he wouldn't be able to. Don't you worry though. We'll make sure he has a needle saved just for him." Suga responded, watching Jimin's face fall into relaxation and comfort in knowing that the love of his life would be able to return to a human.

Now he would just have talk with his friends.

I've thought on it more recently, and I'll be working on Apocalyptic Romance next.

That one will have a better developed plot and story line.
