Chapter 83: Fallen (Finale)

As Jimin, Tae, Minha and Jungkook were sitting on the very top of the gate walls, they were all watching the environment.

Taking it all in before everything changed for good.

For the better.

"Hey, Jungkook..." Jimin began, looking towards him while leaving that statement open.

"Yes?" Jungkook replied, turning to look at Jimin, eyes pooling with love as he gazed at Jimin.

"I-I talked with those two guards that took away the gate man, and they said that they would be giving out shots for those that need them," Jimin said, emotions taking over him. "That they would be giving them to those that aren't fully zombie. Like you." He finished, letting his tears begin to start back up.

"R-really? They're giving out shots?" Jungkook said, a combination of every emotion you could think of taking up real estate on his once blank face.

"Yeah... H-how does that make you feel?" Jimin responded, taking Jungkook's empty hand in his, letting their hands linger between their flushed bodies.

Taking Jimin's hand in his, and tightening his grip, he said "Pretty good. N-now I can finally feel my own h-heartbeat." While speaking, he could feel the sadness that had been welled up inside him vanish, like it wasn't even there in the first place.

After everything that had happened, there had been a comfortable silence that took its spot between everyone as they sat, letting the calm breeze blow past them as they waited for the crew to make its appearance.

Breathing in a much needed, comforting breath, Jimin had finally spotted the group of officials in the distance, finally making their ways towards the big cement structure in the background.

"Look!!! Their going to demolish it!!" Jimin belted out, tears finally cascading their way down his face as he remembered all the trouble that had come their way since everything had started.

"Now their finally destroying that piece of shit building." Minha said quietly, still relishing the somewhat peaceful silence.

"Yeah. Thank god we won't have to deal with all that shit anymore." Tae added.

As Taehyung had finished speaking, they had all realized that the crew had made it to the building, the group of unconditional friends began eyeing the distance between the building and the team of workers, ready anytime for the breaking down of the building that had caused so much trouble in ,undoubtedly, everyone's life.

When the crew had finally reached the building, they had begun on the process.

They had brought everything needed and essential to the building that they would need to get rid of it, and slowly started working on getting everything ready, even so far as bringing bombs to place inside so they could watch it fall apart at a safe distance.

Eventually, all the workers had gotten all the bombs placed inside, and by then Jimin and Jungkook had been steadily hugging each other for a while, ready to watch the fall of what brought everyone demise.

"I'm so ready for the building to finally be gone." Jimin said aloud, watching as he heard one of the officials shouting, "BLOW IT UP!!!!" Which brought Jimin relief, as they both watched the cement building begin to fall.

Watching it crumble and make the ground shake as huge chunks of cement and piping and everything you could imagine begin to fall and tumble.

After watching the building being demolished, they all felt the warm sun shine it's last rays on them, watching the blue sky turn into all sorts of deep, royal colors that cascaded across the now light air.

Tears of joy and happiness began falling as everyone witnessed something so horrible bring something so good out of the terrors everyone witnessed firsthand.

Now, it was a time for new beginnings.
