Chapter 37: Conversation

On the road, just as they were beginning to make their way down the gravel-ridden trail, Tae of course had to take a pit stop to go.

In which he did, saying "Jimin, I've got to go. Be a good boy and watch over the zombie? Please? Just while I'm stopping."

As a response he'd gotten, Jimin had said "fine. But only watching... nothing like what you might be thinking."

Jimin had said the last part to make sure Tae knew what he had in mind, not like what Tae might really have had in his mind.

Whilst watching Tae go over into the very edge of the trees, just enough to modestly cover himself, he decided to be a decent human being and look away.

Might even interrogate the zombie just a tad.

Taking a deep breath in, Jimin turned to face the zombie, and took a few big steps to stand face to face with the zombie.

breathing shallowly, Jimin had asked, "Do you know where this place is that we're going? I mean really know?" not really expecting an answer.

But an answer he got.

"Y-yes... fo-foll-ow m-me..." the zombie muttered, voice raspy.

"Hey Tae!!! We've got to go! The zombie knows where he got bit!!! We need to follow him!" Jimin yelled for Taehyung, hoping he'd be done by now.

After a long minute of nothing but quiet, wind slightly blowing, he finally heard the green trees rustling off to the side where Tae had gone.

"Hi guys. Im back. Hope nothing happened between you two." Tae had responded back, making his signature perv face yet again.

"No, Tae. How many times am I going to have to tell you that there was, is, and never will be anything between us. You've got to get over these delusions your having for some odd reason. It will never happen. Now come on, let's start moving again. I don't want to be another zombie's dinner." Jimin replied, holding back the strong urge to go off on Tae for saying those inappropriate things yet again.

"Fine. But you've got to admit, you guys would be so cute together. Ah, I can see it now. You two will be living together, happily in love, married and have four children. Your sex life is off the charts and your business life is thriving. You guys are making it big time and you will both retire with enough money to live off of for the next two years." Tae went on, loving the idea of shipping them together.

Jimin didn't want it or like it, but Tae wasn't about to let that keep him from imagining so many other scenarios in his head about the two of them.

"TAE!!! ENOUGH!! FOCUS ON OUR MISSION!!" Jimin practically yelled, blushing red in the face from the description Tae had given them about how he sees them being in the next few years.

Not like that would happen though, at least, not with the apocalypse happening.

"Hey, I'm just saying. You two already have another kid on the way in my mind. And Jimin, why fight this? You know there's a little something between you two, otherwise you wouldn't be helping the zombie figure out his past. Before he was bitten." Tae stated, already backing off of the whole Jikook scenario in his head.

He just wishes Jimin would get that stick out of his ass and hit it off with that zombie.

They'd make an amazing couple, he knows.

"Taehyung, just because it's real in your mind, doesn't mean it'll somehow magically become real in reality." Jimin had argued, brushing off the slight annoyance he felt piling up on his shoulders.

"Ok, fine." Tae replied.

And from there on, they stayed quit the whole way.

But how were they to know if they wouldn't bump into anything, or rather, anyone?
