Zombie (Jikook)(COMPLETED)

Chapter 60: Control

Jimin, Tae, and Minha watched as Jungkook slowly stepped away from them, and closer to the zombie in the middle of the road.

They all watched in curiosity as Jungkook inched closer and closer to the mindless, wandering being in front of them.

Jungkook had made eye contact with the other zombie as it began looking him in the eyes, every so often sneeking glances back to the others, who had been watching the two engaging, making eye contact

After a few unsettling, quiet minutes had passed, the other zombie began snarling, making harsh, less than human sounds, baring it's coated, plaqued-over teeth, snapping it's teeth as it glanced over to Jimin. Almost as if it had tried threatening him that it would bite him if he'd interfered or gotten too close.

"Jungkook... back up!!! It's dangerous!!! It could hurt you!!!" Jimin yelled, trying to keep quiet so the other zombie wouldn't see him as a threat.

But, as soon as Jimin had finished saying that, Jungkook had glanced over his shoulder at him, telling him through his eyes to be quiet.

And it seemed like Jimin understood, because he backed off, taking a few steps back, letting Jungkook do what he was going to do.

Jungkook was going to attempt talking with it through telepathy, see if he could understand what the other zombie was stopping them from doing, or going to do.

"Please... let us pass. We are only trying to get somewhere..." Jungkook had said to the other through their minds.

"Sorry, no can do..." The other said, voice baritone, way too low for anyone other than Jungkook to hear.

"Please. We're trying to solve something..." Jungkook said, trying to persaude the other to move.

"What... are you trying... to solve..." The other zombie replied, eyes raking up and down every figure before him.

"T-trying... to s-solve. F-for frie-nds." Jungkook spoke up, lightly gesturing to the others standing idly behind him, a few meters back for safety.

"NO!!!" The other zombie yelled, lowering down a bit in attempt to gain a better position for an attack.

"Pl-ease..." Jungkook treaded lightly, because he knew that at any moment, the other could, amd would, use the chance, or any chance, to jump onto any one of them and attack.

And the other must have sensed the genuine worry, because the next second, it began standing up again, and made a grunting sound that must've meant 'go ahead. There's no need to hurt right now.' then had begun to make it's way off to the side of the road, finally disappearing into the green of the tree line.

"Let's g-go..." Jungkook spoke up, loud enough for them to hear, and started languidly making his way, inch by inch until the others started walking again.

As Jimin, Tae, and Minha started walking, they all had exhibited looks of complete and utter shock at what had happened.

"What just happened..." Tae started, breaking the pressured silence.

"I don't know. But anything could've happened when he got bit, making something in him change. I can't say for sure, but it could be something along those lines." Minha responded, continuing off of what Taehyung had questioned aloud.

"Well... whatever that was, it was pretty dang cool..." Tae stated, box smile appearing after what seemed to be way too long.

"Well, when we get to the plant, we could possibly find out then and there why everything has happened, and hiw it started. Maybe even the reasons or intentions behind it all." Jimin stated, walking faster to stand by Minha's and Tae's side.

Curiosity had overtaken his mind, making him wonder what could possibly be there, waiting fir them once they reach the plant.

Who they could possibly meet.
