I slip on nice shoes, as I finish up getting ready for my date with Mae tonight. I got to Penn only a couple hours ago, but Mae and I agreed to utilize every night we will get. So I have a few fun things planned out for each night. I told Mae to dress semi formal, so I'm just wearing a button down and jeans.

"Be back in a couple hours!" I call to Geoffrey. I walk towards the cafe, where we are once again meeting at 8. When I get to the cafe, 6 minutes early, I quickly check the directions once again to our mystery location of the night.

"Hey," the ever so familiar voice sounds just inches away from me. I look up grinning ear to ear. She smiles sheepishly back at me. "Missed me?" I respond by grabbing her hip and pulling her into a kiss. I know technically this seems excessive given the amount of times we've kissed, but over the past few months, talking every day, I feel like it's been days since I last kissed her. After we both pull away from the kiss her smile is electric, like it makes everyone around her want to smile.

"I guess you could say that," I answer. We exchange playful looks, before I quickly study what she's wearing. The silvery dress sparkles almost as brightly as her eyes, and the tightness of it makes me rethink just going to the planned location. "You look beautiful." I state, pulling my glance from her hand that is sitting lazily on her hip.

"Thank you," she starts, "so where is this magical place you're taking me tonight?" I smile,

"Well I couldn't out do myself the first night, plus I assumed you'd be tired, travelling all the way from New Jersey," I say defending myself, in case she's expecting more than I planned.

"I need nothing more than some food and you to be happy," she answers. I bite my lip grabbing her hand.

"Well, this place has both," I say leading her in the directions I memorized.

When we get to the little restaurant about 8 minutes later, I can tell Mae's anxious to find out. I open the door, and the array of lights flood through, making Mae's dress sparkle even more.

"Reservation for Griffin," I tell the person at the front, who leads us to a table right near the stage.

"What is this?" Mae asks laughing, as she sits down.

"A Karaoke bar!" I say throwing my hands up, "never been to one?" she smirks at me, knowing very well that I know she hasn't.

"And what are we planning to do here?" she asks rhetorically.

"Well I remembered you mentioning you love music, and I thought, why not have a night of dancing and well, if your up to the challenge," I pause, the sparkle in her eyes igniting, "singing."

"I'm always down for a challenge," she says, "right after some food." she answers grabbing a menu from the waiter walking by.

30 minutes later, after we've both consumed excessive amounts of burgers and fries I stand up, holding my hand out.

"Would you do me the pleasure of a dance Mae?" I ask her.

"I would love to," she grabs my hand. And I pull her close to me as we slow dance to the song playing on the speakers. She leans her head on my shoulder, and for a couple minutes, we just stay in that moment. The moment of not having any worries, or tasks to complete. Just being in the moment, the two of us together. The song changes breaking the moment. It's a faster song, so Mae lifts her head up staring right into my eyes, with her light grey ones.
