Rose POV

It was dinner with the Park family.

The parents were laughing and talking about the business while Chanyeol and I quietly ate our food.

" Alright so Rose.... " Mr. Park said as he clapped his hands together " Have you thought about- "

" Yes she have " My father said cutting him off.
" Oh really what is it?! " Mrs. Park asked with a smile waiting for an answer.
" I......I...... I never said I was- " once again my father cut me off.
" She meant to say yes " He said and looked at me with a fake smile.

" Oh that's wonderful! " Mrs. Park said happily as she clapped " My son Chanyeol really loves your daughter....really much I'm pretty sure he would take good care of her right? "

" Right " My mother said and giggled.

" I really do love her in fact " Chanyeol said looking at me " How can I not love a beauty like her? "

I honestly know he doesn't love me.
He just wants to use me and leave me once he's bored with me.
I know if I fall for him, I would just end up getting hurt.
I'm tired of his fake ness.

" Oh you guys will make a wonderful coup- " before Mrs. Park could finish I cut her off.
" No please " I said making her stop talking
" I'm not ready for marriage! "
I felt my father's eyes digging a hole through my body but I didn't care.
" Rose " He said sternly " We've talked about this.... "

" W-What's going o-on? " Mr. Park asked.

" I don't love him! " I said as I looked at Chanyeol who had a face of disappointment " I-I never agreed! Why can't I just marry someone I love instead! "

With that I stood up and ran out of the fancy dining room as I heard my mother shout my name.

I ignored her of course and ran.
I honestly hate life.
I'd rather die than marry that man.
I'd die now.

I ran and even bumped into other people.

But I don't care.

I ran even though my heels were killing my feet, I made my way to the main dock and didn't stop until I reached the rails.

Once I did, I wiped my tears and climbed up.

If I die now, I will be in peace.

I'm sorry Jisoo.

I can't keep living like this.

I know you will be disappointed but it's not easy for me to live a life like this any longer.
