( Rose is 18 in this story and now this is 64 years later.... )
Rose looked out at the night sky filled with stars.
She was now old and her children were already asleep. They were on a ship of course. After the incident with the Titanic, Rose was traumatized. But now, she wasn't really scared of the oceans and ships anymore.
She went towards the railing and felt the cold air hit her face.
How did she make it this far you asked?
Well....
After she was saved, she met a girl name Jennie at the hospital. Jennie saw how Rose was struggling so Jennie helped her and let Rose move in with her. Rose was thankful she met Jennie. She was the one who helped her get through life, thick and thin.
Rose worked at a cafe for a while and one day she met a man. His name was Park Jimin. He was a CEO and owned many companies and buildings. Rose at first had no interest in him but Jimin would always come by at the cafe just to see her.
I mean everyone in that cafe loved Rose. She was pretty much the reason why the cafe made more money than ever. Mens would come by often and girls would compliment how beautiful she looked. Of course she was happy to know how many people loved her.
Long story short, Jimin and Rose began dating.
They went out on dates and all that stuff couples do.
3 years into their relationship, Jimin purpose to her. They both got married and had a honeymoon in the Maldives. It was the most happiest day of her life. The sad part was that Jennie no longer stayed in Korea.
Jennie moved back to New Zealand and FaceTimes Rose when she is free.
Years later Rose and Jimin had 2 kids. One boy and one girl. The boy was Park Minho and the girl Park SooJi.
They lived a happy life until Jimin had an heart attack and eventually died.
Rose was again devastated but she was glad she at least had her son and daughter.
She began working and took over Jimin's company and now it was Minho and Sooji who took over the company.
Rose was now old and her hair is white. Her skin had wrinkles and she gets back pain most of the time.
What about Taeyong, Jeno and Jaemin?
Well....they all died as well.
When they were in the lifeboats, a heavy rain storm occurred in the middle of nowhere and it flipped over the boat they were on.
They all drowned and died by the end of it.
What about Jisoo?
Well....she died too.
She was one of those people who froze to their death.
It wasn't easy for Rose to handle all these lost.
She tried to suicide a lot of times but she always remembered Jaehyun's promise.
She couldn't bring herself to break Jaehyun's promise.
Back to the story, old Rose was standing by the railing. It was what she liked to do when she was in the Titanic.
Rose never told Jimin about Jaehyun. She never spoke of him....or even have a picture of him....
The next morning on the small ship, Minho and some other people found some stuff underwater. Those stuff were from the Titanic. They were on a ship because Minho and SooJi wanted to explore and learn about the Titanic but didn't know their mother was an survivor of the Titanic.
They found an old dirty rusted painting and they use special chemicals to clean it.
When they did, it was a picture of a women, half naked.
She was incredibly beautiful.
" T-This is.... " Minho voice faded as he saw the masterpiece.
Why did the women looked familiar?
Rose was on the dining table when she heard they found a painting.
Minho and the others showed it to her and it took her no more than a second to realize....that was Jaehyun's sketch of her.
She remember Jaehyun drawing this of her and she felt her heart beat fast.
She slowly placed her hand on the sketch and moved her fingers around.
" M-Mom.... " She heard her daughter SooJi said with a worry showed at her face " Is everything okay? "
" Sweetheart....the girl in this picture " Rose said " The girl.....is me "
