Chapter 39

The beautiful temple baked in the red glow of the sun setting....

"Where is Alia and Your apprentice?" Master Windu questioned.

"On their way back to Naboo... they are escorting Senator Amidala home," Obi Wan explained..

They all turned and watched as the sun began to disappear on the horizon.... Yoda sat in his chair.

"I must admit without the clones, it would have not been a victory," Obi Wan continued..

"Victory? Victory... you say?" Yoda replied sadly.. everyone turned and looked at him.

"Not victory, a defeat... it was, Master Obi Wan... begun.. The Clone War has!" Yoda declared.

Obi wan know that this was just only the beginning.... but he also knew this could be the end of all Jedi.

"Master Yoda... Dooku tried getting Alia to turn towards the dark side, apparently his Master wants her... and will stop at nothing until he gets her," Obi Wan replied... with a hint of concern in his voice.

Yoda sighed...

"She's very strong with the force, that she is... but so much good, yes much good," Yoda turned and looked at Obi Wan with a small smile... Yoda had so much hope for Alia, he knew she would never join the dark side.... he knew she would destroy it before ever joining it.

"I hope this is true... Alia and Anakin are our last hope," Obi Wan replied.

"Indeed they are... last hope, they are," Yoda said... feeling the Master in front of him become at ease.

They all looked out the large windows... and enjoyed the silence... for a moment everything was okay... no one thought about war... death or anything.

I hope you all have enjoyed this fanfic... because I most certainly enjoyed writing it, I didn't think I'd finish writing this story... but I did and I feel completely relaxed and accomplished.
