Pag uwi ko sa condo ay tinawagan ko si Mommy. Miss na miss ko na sila. Hindi ako nakakabisita sa amin ng madalas.

"What's wrong love?" She asked when she heard me sniff.

"Nothing Mom. I just miss you and Daddy and kuyas."

"We miss you too anak. Your dad is still stuck in meeting. Your kuya Zeus and ate Ria are busy preparing for their wedding. You can invite your friends you made in Tagaytay sa wedding ng kuya mo."

"I don't think that's necessary, Mom."

"Why not anak?"

"I'm leaving."

"What? What do you mean you're leaving? Please tell me anak."

"Mom? Can we go to Canada after my internship? I want to take a vacation."

"Of course we can. But why anak? Ayaw mo ba sa kompanya niyo?"

"Masaya Mom. I just want to take a vacation before I start a real job Mom."

"Okay then. Kailan tayo aalis?"

As soon as possible.

I didn't get much sleep kaya naman, medyo kinapalan ko ang concealer ko sa araw na ito kaysa sa usual na amount.

"Good morning sissy!" Malanding bati ni Oliver.

"Good morning."

Ohh I'll miss this guy. And Brie too, and Jayden, and miss Rodriguez. The staff, the guards. Anyone in this company. I will miss preparing my clothes the night before I go to work tomorrow. Waking up too early than usual when I want to look good. Hindi ko akalaing, mamimiss ko din ang paglalagay ng make up sa umaga. I used to hate it before. But now, sobrang mamimiss ko pala. I'll miss him the most.

A moment later, I was called in the office by miss Rodriguez.

"Good morning miss Rodriguez." Bati ako.

"Good morning miss Marasigan. Please sit down."

"I want to congratulate you." She smiled and extended her arm. Hindi ko pa alam kung bakit niya ako binabati pero tinanggap ko iyon.

"Uhm, thank you pero for what po?"

"Because you are hired!"

Masaya ang mukha ni miss Rodriguez pero, ang akin naman parang hindi maipinta. I couldn't believe I got hired.

Gusto kong magtrabaho. I want to establish a career. But I won't be selfish. Ayoko maging hadlang sa taong mahal ko at sa babaeng nararapat sa kanya ng dahil lang sa gusto ko ng established career for myself. I am sure I'll have more opportunies in the future. It's hard to let go of this opportunity given to me by PFC, but I won't be selfish.

"I'm sorry ma'am but, I have to decline the offer."

"Decline? But why? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity."

"I know ma'am. But, I am moving away. I am going away."

"I know you have a choice to accept or decline but, will give you some time to think abo--"

"I'm truly sorry ma'am but my decision is final. I'm sorry I have to decline the offer. I'm sure someone is more deserving of this opportunity than me."

"If that's your decision, I'll respect it. Nasasayangan lang ako."

"I know, ma'am. Ako man ay nasasayangan. Pakiusap ko lang po na please keep it a secret. I'll them soon but, not now."
