My smiled disappeared. "Matagal mo na akong mahal?"
"If you just know, you hurted me so many times but you're still the one that's inside this." Tinuro niya ang puso niya. "Ikaw lang 'yung lalaking alam mo na ginugusto ko."
A-ako iyon?
Agad ko siyang niyakap nang mahigpit. "I'm sorry. I'm so darn stupid. I didn't see you. I hate myself for being a jerk."
Napakatanga ko!
"But right now I ask myself why? Why is the man whom I love is starting to love me? Why?" We separated and she looked at me directly in my eyes. "Why are you making me happy right now?"
I held her arms. "I want to thank God because He made me see Him... through you. Why do I love you? Because He just showed me who you are and feels like He's saying 'she's My daughter and you don't see her worth. But now, I'm gonna make you see her.'"
Ngumiti siya. "You encountered Him like that?"
I smiled and nodded. "And He made me ask you this. C-can I court you?"
I feel like my knees we're shaking.
She looked at me directly. "If you do, I will be the happiest woman alive."
"Really?!" I hugged her that made her exclaimed from being surprised.
"Ya! You're overreacting! Hindi pa tayo 'no!" Sabi niya habang tumatawa. Humiwalay ako sa kanya.
"Not now but soon."
"Oh, really? What will you do to make me say the next yes?"
"I'm not going to tell you because I'm going to do it. But first, I'm gonna tell this to your Mom. Let's go."
"What?" Hinila ko siya sa papunta sa passenger's seat. "As in ngayon na?"
"Yes, young lady." Kinindatan ko siya na ikinaupo niya sa car seat.
Ako nama'y dumiretso sa driving seat at pinaandar ito.
Pagkadating namin ay nagulat sila kung bakit kasama ako ni Melody.
Everybody's present in the sala area and I talked to Tita Erlinda in front of them.

Marahang tumawa si Tita Erlinda. Ako rin ay gano'n din.
"Joke lang." Sabi niya sa dalaga at tumingin sa akin. "Matagal ko nang gustong marinig sa iyo iyan, Steaven."
