“Drew didn't renew his contract. Now, the management were thinking if we'll disband and continue with our solo instead.."
Today is supposed to be my only rest day since I have classes six days a week, pero mukhang hindi ako makakapagpahinga dahil kay Caius.
He's still in his pajamas and disheveled hair, matched with her furrowed and annoyed face.
"Fans were expecting us tomorrow for the announcement of our local tour but I guess we'll be giving them a hardtime." Aniya.
"Bakit daw ba hindi nag-renew?" I asked.
Maybe we're both civil to each other.
I just hope I'm wrong.
"He's been going through a lot, Faith.." Ani Caius. Napasulyap ako sa kanya. Pinisil niya ang tungki ng kanyang ilong. I can feel his stress.
"Going through what?"
Caius sighed, "His father died because of suicide."
I haven't heard this news! I didn't know!
"That was just a year ago.. Ever since, Drew failed to focus on his career. Marami siyang controversies, nadamay ang banda.. That could be the probable reason why he refused the contract."
Nanatili akong tahimik. I haven't met his father nor his family.
"How about his mom?" I asked.
"Broken family sila. He's staying with his father and brother. His mom, for I know has her own family.." Ani Caius. He asked.
I shrugged.
I know nothing about Drew's family. I can vividly remember our memories but I can't remember anything he said about his family. His father is a well-known tycoon. That was a common fact.
But to compare with the Buenvenidezes, they are just peasant.
He silently browsed his phone.
He remained seated infront of me..
"Yes, dad?" Bungad niya. He pouted a bit. "Ngayon na? — Okay. — Okay Dad, I will." He said and ended the short call.
