All my life, I've been contented of everything I have. My supportive and loving parents who provided all my needs, took care of me, and who gave me this comfortable life, I have good friends and nice people around me, and it was perfect and enough.
But maybe, as time passes by and I kept on growing, nagkakaroon din ng puwang sa buhay ko na gusto kong mapunan at makamit, at siguro nga, normal iyon.
And I am lucky enough to have it infront of me right now. Here is the man who completes me, the man who proved me that there are dreams that can be lived, that there is this kind of love that is beyond the brim of happiness, that there is so much more than the joy alone.
I opened my eyes slowly as the sunlight passing through the venetian blinds hits my face. I tried to shut my eyes again but it was too bright.
We are both covered with this thick blanket while my head is resting in his right arm and his left arm is all over me.
His eyebrows are relaxed, as well as his eyes, mabigat ang paghinga at mukhang malalim ang tulog. His lips are in natural red and isn't dry, ang buhok naman ay medyo magulo, nakabagsak sa mukha at halos tumatama na sa noo.
I stared at him and smiled like an idiot. Even when he's asleep, ang gwapo niya padin! and I am married to this man? this man infront of me is my husband?
I put my hand down and hugged him in the waist. I shut my eyes again and tried hard to sleep but I couldn't help myself from glancing at him.
"Hmm.. quit staring.." He murmured, still eyes closed.
He chuckled and closed the space between us. I can feel him on me again.
"I'm awake, love, stop lying.."
I chuckled and gave up, siniksik niya naman ang kanyang mukha sa leeg ko at dinampian ng mumunting halik iyon, then I suddenly remembered my bridal shower!
"Ikaw talaga 'yun!"
"The guy from my bridal shower! You kissed exactly like him!" Sambit ko.
"Paano? Ganito?" He huskily said and kissed my neck again.
Naiinitian ako bigla! Naiinitan na naman ako!
"Hey, stop it!
Can you cook for me, wife?" He asked, leashing off the topic.
Sumimangot ako at umiling. "Order nalang tayo. I'm still tired."
