It was a success.

The whole event was a success for everyone who made it possible. There are enough funds for the chosen charities, for the LGUs who will push the advocacy, there was a bidding for the gowns that was worn tonight, the bidding exceed until 8 to 9 digits, that definitely made it an all over success for everyone.

Hindi ko rin inaasahan na marami ang taong dadalo ngayon, there were politicians, elites, businessmen, known artists and even celebrities. Hindi lang din representatives ang umattend kundi buo nilang pamilya.

Now I can really say that the Buenvenidezes has the most connection locally and even internationally.

They really belong in the upper-class of the society, iyong mga pinapangarap ng lahat na makasalamuha sa ganitong event. But even with their bloodline, their wealth, and their names itself, the brand they created to people never became a hindrance for them to pity nor look down at anyone.

Marami din ang lumapit sa akin para icongratulate ako sa event na 'to, lalo pa't lahat ng nakakuha ng pinakamataas na bidding ay ang mga gown na sinuot ko. Isa pa ay isa ito sa mga projects ko sa showbiz na inaabangan ng marami.

"With a Cuerva gracing the runway of an event by the Buenvenidez, this will be the another talk of the century! Should we look forward for more runways with you?" Tanong ng isang sikat na TV host sa akin nang madatnan ako sa dagat ng tao pagkatapos ng runway.

I already changed my outfit. I am now wearing a plain black fitted tube-long gown with crystals scattered.

"We'll see. If there will be few invites for an event like this, I would gladly help," Sagot ko.

Tumango ang host, "We heard how picky you are in taking projects, you had a supposedly upcoming big project from your management but you declined it recently and you chose this instead?"

Natigilan ako ng bahagya doon at muling inisip kung ano yon, ngunit bigo dahil sa dami ng tinanggihan ko ay hindi ko na alam kung ano ba ang tinutukoy niya.

"I chose this one coz it's beneficial and the proceeds has a lot to help. From the environmental advocacy to the charities that will be given support, I believe that this is something worth trying," I answered confidently.

Marami pa siyang tinanong sa akin, natigil lang noong bahagyang nahati ang mga taong nakapalibot sa akin. Bahagya pa akong nalito at tuluyan nang nagulat nang naglakad papalapit sa akin si Gust.

He's walking towards me with his intimidating looks, no doubt why the people were suddenly shocked with his presence. Natahimik pa ang lahat at tila naglaglagan ang panga ng iabot sa akin ni Gust ang hawak niyang bouquet saka nilahad ang kamay.

I accepted the flowers and his hand, agad naman ang flash ng camera sa kung saan saan, mas lalo lang nagkaroon ng commotion, kaya napilitan na si Gust na ilayo ako doon.

We walked passed all the people who are interviewing me. Ni hindi ko na sila naharap dahil masyadong mabilis ang lakad ni Gust at mahigpit ang hawak sa aking kamay.

Bumagal lang ang lakad niya nang makarating kami sa mga table, doon ko lang din halos tiningnan at inusisa ang bulaklak na bigay niya.

He really got a good taste in everything, it made my heart flutter.

"You find it hard to escape, huh?" Aniya nang mapansin ang pagbagal ng lakad ko.

Umirap ako sa kanya, "I'm not used to this. You know that," Sagot ko.

"Yeah, and you don't have to answer all their damn questions," Aniya.

I snapped, "I didn't!" Agap ko. Tumawa lang siya at iginiya na ako sa table. Nilahad niya ang upuan at umupo naman ako doon, saka siya umupo sa tabi ko.
