"How is she po?" I asked as I enter Richela's room.

Successful ang operation pero wala padin siyang malay. She's sleeping peacefully. Marami ang nawalang dugo sa kanya kaya maputla pa siya hanggang ngayon.

"The doctor said she'll gain her consciousness after 3 days at least," Tita Sarah answered.

I guess I won't be able to talk with her before I leave.

"Kayo po? How are you?" I asked. Bahagyang nagulat si Tita.

She smiled at me and held my hand, "I've never been this calm for a while.." She whispered with tears in her eyes, "Ang laki na ng utang namin sa pamilya mo.."

"Tita.." I stopped her.

"Your life was at risk for years, Faith.. Because you chose to protect us.. You chose to be with us.. I knew it wasn't easy for you. You were traumatized and you're not used to these.. I'm sorry.. We are.." She cried. Agad ko siyang niyakap.

"Tita, it's okay.. Tapos na naman po.. Let's just pray for Richela to gain her energy back, and for the families to get the justice they want.." I said.

Tumango siya. "Marco will put an end to this.." She said. "He's been in silence and depth for a long time because he was afraid. Now, it's his time to give it back, to give the justice back to the Buenvenidez,"

Tumango ako at nanatiling tahimik. Tita sighed and looked at Richela.

"Kinamusta mo na din ba siya?" She suddenly asked. Napatingin ako sa kanya, "Augustine.." Dagdag niya.

Umiling lang ako.

"He saved us. He saved Richela. He was also rushed a while ago."

"Yes, I know, Tita.. We talked.." Ani ko. Huminga ako ng malalim at nilapitan si Richela.

Hindi ko maiwasang maiyak.

Pinunasan ko ang takas na luha sa pisngi ko, "Rich. You need to wake up, we need to talk.." Natatawa kong bulong sa kanya. "You need to fight because we're fighting for you.."

I wiped my tears again when the door opened. Caius entered the room.

I can't greet him nor look at him. Not because I blamed their family but because I was in pain. Parang ang hirap makipagusap sa mga tao, kasi lahat kami apektado.

Lumabas muna ako ng room at iniwan ko muna sila doon ni Tita. Ilang saglit pa ay narinig ko na ang pagtawag niya sa akin.

"Faith.." He called me and grabbed my arm towards him.

He gave me a tight hug. Binaon niya ako sa dibdib niya habang tinatahan ako. Ni hindi ko nasuklian ang yakap niya. Umiyak lang ako ng tahimik sa dibdib niya at hinayaan ako hanggang sa matapos.

"I'm leaving, Cai.." Paalam ko sa kanya nang medyo kumalma.

Agad siyang bumitaw sa yakap, "W-What... W-Why.." He asked, kita ko ang pamumula ng mga mata niya.

"I can't stay anymore.. This is suffocating.." I said.

Tumango naman siya na parang naiintindihan na kaagad ako. "Aalis ka ulit.."

"I'm sorry."

He sighed, para bang hirap iproseso ang lahat, "Will you come back?" He asked.

"I don't know.."
