Snufkin and Lulamoon were sat on a hill. Relaxing in the sun with the cool breeze to keep them from over heating. Lulamoon was lying back between his legs. Her head resting against his chest as he ran his fingers through her hair. Snufkin chuckled when she let out relaxed sigh and snuggled into him.

He turned his head when he heard Moomin calling out to them and walking over but paused when he got close. "Is it okay if I join you?" He asked. Unsure if he was interupting them.

Snufkin nodded. "It's alright Moomin. Have a seat."

Moomin sat down next to them and told them, that Mr. Hemulen told him, that there was a golden fish in a huge lake way beyond the Lonely Mountains and that he wanted to see it. "Going over Lonely Mountains and back would take, at least, two days."

"Not really." Snufkin said. "Because I know a short cut, Moomin. I could take you there and back in one day."

"Have you already been there, Snufkin?"

"Just once."

Moomin leaned forward. "Oh! Will you show me the way?"

"You really wanna go?" Snufkin asked.

"Yes! I really wanna see that golden fish with my own eyes, and maybe capture it!"

"It won't be easy to capture. From what I heard, the golden fish is far to clever to get caught."

"I know...but it'll be so much fun!"

"Will you go alone?" Lulamoon finally spoke up. Turning her head to look at her friend.

"Well, Snorkmaiden said she wanted to come along." Moomin told them. "Maybe Little My, and Sniff probably wants to come along too."

"In that case, we better go across the mountains." Snufkin said.

"Why's that? Why can't we take the short cut?"

"The path is rather steep and dangerous. Especially in the Forest of Witches."

Moomin's eyes widened. "Are there witches?"

"Most likely, no." Lulamoon reassured him. "We cleared out of that forest a long time ago but there could still be a few older ones who stick to their roots."

"Oh, so it's safe then?"

She giggled. "Yes. But it's a very deep forest. Dark and scary, even at daytime. If it's alright," she glance up her mumrik. "Would you like me to help guide them through it? I'd love to join you."

Snufkin smiled down at her and traced circles on her cheek with his thumb. "And I'd love to have you, my witch."

Moomin blushed at all the softness. Those two were really getting comfortable with each other.

Lulamoon got up before the sunrise and met up with Snufkin outside Moomin House. He pulled out his harmonica and started to play in order to wake Moomin up.

"Goodmorning Snufkin, Lulu." Sniff tiredly greeted them as he walked up behind them. Carrying a net and a bucket.

"Goodmorning Sniff." Lulamoon greeted back. "You're up early."

"I dreamt I caught the golden fish and then I could go back to sleep."

Moomin finally appeared, climbing out his window and down his ladder and Snufkin put his harmonica away. "Sorry guys, guess I over slept." Moomin said once he reached the ground.
"Well, let's go!"

The witch stopped them. "What about Snorkmaiden and Little My? Shouldn't we wait for them?"

"Oh, they're not really great walkers, are they? And anyway, didn't we decide that we wouldn't wait for anybody? So it might be better this way."
