Everything, Everything One Shot
When people talked about having families and settling down in houses of their own, they were always in their mid to late twenties and had everything planned out.
You had things partially planned out but at 21 years old you couldn't honestly say that you knew what you were even doing.
Having been in a relationship for close to four and a half years, you and Olly had spoken about the future numerous times but when you fell pregnant almost three years ago you panicked.
You panicked to your absolute heart's content and then calmed down enough to just tell your boyfriend what had happened.
Olly's mum was nothing but supportive, your parents however took a while to adjust to the news. When they did, they were relatively excited.
It was a hard adjustment but when your little girl Ellie was born, everything changed – the trivial things didn't matter as much anymore, the pure fact that you and Olly had created such a beautiful little thing was all you could think of.
Almost three years later you and Olly were living in a house of your own, down the road from his mum's place, and your little Ellie was about to have her birthday.
She'd decided that she wanted a 'mermaid' birthday party this year, as the years previous she hadn't been able to have an input really.
As sunlight streamed through your blinds that morning you remembered that Ellie had been at her grandma's the night before leaving you and Olly to finish things up for her party.
The smell of coffee wafted through your bedroom causing you to open your eyes and you saw the gorgeous man you called your fiancé holding a mug in front of you.
"Mornin' baby," he greeted with a smile.
You returned the smile as you sat up to take the mug off of him. "Hmm...what's brought this on?"
He chuckled but shrugged. "An Ellie free morning means that I can spoil my soon to be wife with some coffee in bed."
"Wow I really have trained you well," you commented as you took a sip. "And you do make a good cup of coffee."
Laughing he climbed back into bed next to you. "Oh, I knew you kept me around for a reason."
He gently pulled you into his side, tucking you under his arm as you continued to drink your coffee.
"Our living room currently looks like Ariel herself has thrown up on it, and the back garden has the 'mermaid station' set up," he explained with a sigh.
You smiled up at him. "She's going to love it my love, I know it."
He nodded whilst running a hand through his hair. "All that little girl needs to do is smile at me and it'll all be worth it."
"You're the best dad baby," you reached up to kiss his cheek as you spoke to him.
Smirking, he took the coffee mug out of your hands to put it on the nightstand before kissing you gently.
You giggled as he put his cold hands on the strip of skin that had appeared due to your top riding up.
"Then that means I can convince you to try for another?"
"Olly!" you exclaimed whilst laughing. "I'm only 21!"
He laughed along with you. "And all Ellie wants for her birthday is a baby brother."
