Bones One Shot

When your older brother said he was going to let you tour the Jeffersonian the last thing you were expecting to happen was Finn.

As Seeley was showing you around with Temperance explaining everything to you, Finn came over to speak to Temperance and had stopped short with his words.

You couldn't even describe what you thought when you saw him and then he spoke and god that accent.

Of course, Temperance had wanted to go and see what Finn had informed her off and took Seeley with her, leaving you with Finn.

He'd offered to finish your tour and what on earth would make you turn down a tour from a very attractive southern guy.

It had been a few months since that day, you and Finn spoke pretty much all the time and had been out a fair few times, each time being better than the last and eventually things were made official.

When Temperance and Seeley wanted to go out for the evening and needed you to stay home to watch Christine, well you asked if Finn wanted to spend the evening with you both.

"Agent Booth," you heard Finn greet Seeley at the door.

Seeley chuckled as he let Finn in. "Good to see you kid."

You rolled your eyes but got up to kiss Finn, which he welcomed.

"Nice to see you Mr Abernathy," Temperance greeted as she came into the room with Christine.

She handed you Christine as she smiled at Finn.

"And you Dr Brennan," Finn replied, taking off his baseball cap. "Thank you for letting me come to your home again, if only to keep these two gorgeous ladies' company."

Your cheeks flamed at his compliment, but Temperance just continued to smile. "I promise I'll get Christine down for her nap on time," you reassured your sister-in-law. "You two just enjoy your evening okay? And stay out as late as you want."

Seeley chuckled as he came over to you to kiss Christine on the forehead gently and then did the same to you. "You be good to her kid," he told Finn as he turned to face him.

Finn nodded, shaking Seeley's hand and tipping his hat to Temperance as they both walked out, and he followed to wave them off.

When he returned, he saw you bouncing Christine gently and humming to her, a smile graced his face as he watched, and he found himself falling for you just that little bit more.

"Look Christine, he's staring at us," you pretended to whisper to your niece, and she giggled up at you.

Finn chuckled, making his way over to you and wrapping his arm around you. "It's a sight that deserves staring."

"And why might that be?" you questioned with a smile on your face.

He smiled down at you as he ran a finger gently over Christine's cheek. "Makes me think about the future is all."
