It was almost impossible to say how fast the last two years had gone. The time had both shot past like a rangers stray arrow and trickled by like the fabled sands of time but one thing was for certain, it was time spent with Anduin and for that reason alone it was perfect. Of course the marriage was full of regal flare; velvety fireworks crested the darkened skies above Stormwind keep as Anduin slipped the humble gold band onto your finger but that life of new money did not last long. It was mere weeks before Anduin handed the majority of the thrones power to his chief advisor and began his new life by your side.

His hands, still gentle and everloving now lined themselves with subtle callouses from where he eagerly tended the land but it did not stop his caressing holds from keeping you safe and loved and it all thanks to him that the hope that gleamed from within the adventurers eyes now danced in the sunlight with yours.

"I told you already." A small plate of fresh seasonal fruits; oranges, apples and grapes to name a few slid in front of you accompanied by a thoughtful morning smile. "I'm more than happy to do the farm work for the next few days, there really isn't that much to do. You just rest, I know you always say you wish you had more time to try out some of your grandma's recipes." He clipped the modest overalls over his shoulders, the change from his stiff regalia to what most of his royal counterparts would deem peasant parts was possibly the most welcome change to him.

"You could always just ask me to bake you a pie, I really wouldn't mind, if you would have asked me last night I could have woken up early."

"No!" He wrapped his fingers around a sturdy bucket of chicken feed and carefully opened the rickety chipped door. "You only cook if you want to, if not then don't. I want you to just take it easy, even if just for a little. If I need anything I promise I'll come and get you." He stepped out onto the chunky stone path, only to immediately be attacked by a swarm of surprisingly sharp golden beaks.

"Are you sure you don't need help yet?" You laughed through a mouthful of oranges as Anduin danced and whirled around a storm of feathers.

"No, I can do it! I'll get used to it eventually."

"Come on, I'm pregnant not useless!"
