Fitz POV:

"Fitz!" Sophie yelled. "Can you bring Biana and get over here?"

Um. Okay.

Fitz found his sister, then explained to Marella and Maruca (who'd been gossiping with Biana) that Sophie needed them for something.

Marella had only rolled her eyes and said, "Off you go again, thanks for inviting us," and turned back to Maruca.

Biana and Fitz ran over to where Sophie was talking with a frantic-looking black dragon and a few others, all looking worried.

"Hey," Fitz said. "What happened?"

"Okay," Sophie said, blowing out a long breath. "So. From what I gathered, there are these two SeaWings, Turtle and Anemone—remember them?—were taken by Queen Wasp."

"Weren't they inspecting the border between the worlds?" Biana asked.

"Well, yeah, but—"

"With Luna. Where is she?" Fitz interrupted.

"I think Luna followed them a bit, until she was sure they were going back to the lost continent, then came back to tell us." Sophie said. "As I was saying, they were taken by Wasp's scouts when they resurfaced to tell Luna what they'd seen. She couldn't swim and risk damaging her wings. Turtle and Anemone are blue . . . er, green and pale blue . . . and were pretty out of place. Luna was hiding in the clouds. She says it's because the last time she went out to fly, she felt like she was being watched. But then the scouts got them. Turtle and Anemone," she clarified. "She left just now." 

"Okay, so now Turtle and Anemone are prisoners to a creepy HiveWing queen and Luna decided to go save them by herself." Biana said.

"I . . . well, it is literally that." Sophie admitted.

"What do you suggest we do?" Fitz asked.

"Well, they wanted to get Winter, and a few LeafWings to go get them back. LeafWings because they're fighters. Winter because he's familiar to the SeaWings, but he stands out like you two would in the human world." Sophie blushed the moment the words came out of her mouth.

"Aww, thanks," Biana said, winking at Fitz.

"But why did you ask us to come?" Fitz asked, changing the subject.

"I wanted to go too," Sophie explained. "See if we can find anything about the plant Vespera told me is what the Neverseen took. I think they have a jungle there?"

"Poison Jungle," Hazel said. "You should go with a LeafWing."

"Wait, plant? I thought they had just said a resource from this planet." Biana said.

"Oh, remember when Sophie inflicted on Vespera?" Fitz asked. "Well, that was because Vespera promised to tell us all she knows about this new plant if Sophie can get some humans for her to experiment on, in or out of our custody."

Sophie furrowed her brow. "I said no, but I'm wondering if I should have accepted."

"You can always back out," Biana suggested. "We have her as our prisoner anyways. Besides, what can an Empath do to break out of a hut filled with dragons?"

Sophie sighed. "I guess I could try that. I'll go talk to her now."

"What about Turtle and Anemone?" Fitz asked.

"Maybe we can get a LeafWing to go with us tomorrow, once we've learned all we can." Sophie said. "I'll go ask Hazel if she knows anyone suitable for the job."

"I'll go with you," Fitz said.

"I'll wait for you with Marella and Maruca near Vespera's box." Biana said before running off.
