[insert Legends: Dragonslayer here]. Welcome, humans!

Moon POV:

"Okay, so you're telling me," Moon said to Glory through the dreamvisitor, trying to keep her calm, "that Kinkajou was buried in a mound of the poisonous, shadowy-whatever nightshade flower and then, when she woke up, some villain from the Alwaysseen was able to mind-control her? Seriously?" She didn't care that Glory was a queen anymore. Kinkajou was hurt! Mind-controlled! How could she ever not be polite and whatnot?

Glory sighed from her imaginary treehouse. "Unfortunately, yes. Kinkajou is currently sedated, but the sedatives keep wearing off faster and faster. Every time, the member from the Neverseen keeps making threats,"

"To who?" Moon demanded. "Kinkajou?"

"Actually, I don't think Kinkajou is anything more than a puppet. Someone she can use to speak to the elves. The threats are for their friend, Sophie,"

Moon closed her eyes and rubbed her temples. This was getting so complicated. They all had too many enemies. Those Neverseen people for the elves. Queen Wasp and her mind-controlled subjects. The Othermind, too, Moon supposed. And if the nightshade is as cunning as the breath of evil, then . . . that's four enemies. All way too powerful.

"Moon, I have to go. But if you want, you can come over to the rainforest today or tomorrow to see Kinkajou, maybe bring the elves back to Jerboa's hut. One brushed her foot against the flowers and now she's hurt." Glory said.

"I'll come over," Moon said. "Thank you,"

Glory gave her a sad smile. "See you soon, then," and she was gone.

"What was that about?" Qibli asked from his bed. He was almost ready to get back on his feet, but his little escapade a week ago definitely took a toll.

Moon sighed again. Qibli didn't need to be burdened with this, not while he was still hurt. But the intensity in his eyes made her spill. She told him everything, even her own worries for Kinkajou and the elves, all their enemies. And, of course, her latest vision.

"You had another vision?" A gruff voice suddenly interrupted. Winter stalked into the small hut, a small scowl on his face.

"I, well, it's not clear yet. But there's an outline," she said. Hopefully Winter wasn't mad she'd kept the information for herself.

"What's it about?" He sat down and cocked his head, staring at her.

"Well, it was in the rainforest," she started, "since . . . since Kinkajou was there with the elves. I'm going over today," she added.

"I'm coming," Qibli immediately volunteered.

Moon frowned at him. "You're on bed rest."

"For only two more days!" he protested.

"Yeah, and I'll be back by then," Moon said. "As I said—"

"Alone?" Winter interjected. "You're going alone?"

"I mean . . . Turtle, Anemone and Qibli are all on bed rest, and I thought you were busy planning the next big battles in Pantala against Queen Wasp," Moon explained. "I don't think you should be flying halfway across the continent before having to fly halfway around the world the next day. Besieds, Luna and Io will meet me there."

Winter harrumphed.

Moon shook her head, "Anyways, as I was saying, I saw Kinkajou and the elves well there. I just can't see what's next, although I get the feeling that it's help coming. But with the help comes more trouble. It doesn't seem all that fair to me. It doesn't make sense either," she added under her breath.
