Hazel POV:

Bright green and purple grass. A ring of trees with mammoth trunks, burnt, braided bark and hunter green leaves surrounded the forcefield, blocking everyone from going near the forcefield. Hazel thought it smelled like cinnamon and chocolate.

A large building made of what seemed like diamonds and quartz was in the center of the enormous forcefield. If the building was nearly the size of the Poison Jungle back home, then how big exactly was the forcefield, with the sprawling lawns and the ring-shaped forest of those cinnamon tree things?

The Pyrrhian queens and Io began flying to the large building. Hazel began to follow when she saw the a yellow-and-black dragon swooping in from the opposite side of the forcefield. Hazel shivered. It had to be Wasp. Then the forcefield flashed a blinding yellow, making her eyes water. When she opened them, Wasp was gone, and her vision was spotty. She shook out her wings, looking for Wasp, when the forcefield flashed again, but this time it was red (and thankfully not as bright, her poor eyes), and if she squinted, Hazel could make out some shapes dive-bombing the forcefield, which seemed like a bad idea, since they would only get zapped. So since no dragon with common sense would keep doing that, she assumed the dragons were hive-minded.

Which meant Wasp was trying to sneak soldiers in.

After a few more minutes, it seemed like the forcefield wrapped them in a mini-forcefield, and swept them back to Pantala. Good thing, or else a war would be started or something.

When she finally reached the building, Io was the only one waiting, and she was glaring at the crystalline door, which was next to a smaller one, perhaps for the other creatures.

"What?" Hazel asked.

"Wasp." Io growled.

"I saw her try to sneak dragons in. Hive-minded dragons." she told her.

"So that's where you were? Everyone else is here already." Io held out the door and the two went in.

Suddenly Hazel felt someone slip a blindfold over her eyes and two dragons press her between them, and began steering her through dark hallways.

She head a yelp, and assumed Io had met the same fate. "Hey!" Both cried at the same time.

"Security measures. You aren't allowed to know where everything is." said the dragon on her right.

"You are being sent to your room first, and when the time comes, everyone will be ushered to dinner, where introductions will be made. That's all we know, although supposedly those 'Council' people are going to give more details." said a dragon with Io.

"And are we allowed to leave our rooms?" Io asked from behind Hazel.

"No," all four guards said promptly. "You will be locked in for security reasons, and we will guard your room door. You have two windows, but they are barred, again for security reasons."

Io groaned. "It's like we're prisoners!"

No one replied.

After so many twists and turns that Hazel was sure that she would have been lost even without the blindfold, she heard the sound of a door unlocking, and the guard dragons nudged her in, removing her blindfold at last. The door locked behind her.

True to their word, there were the two barred windows the guards mentioned, but there was also a huge bed made of silk and leaves decorated with flowers and huge palm leaf blankets. The pillows were made of some unknown material, perhaps elvin, but they were super soft and comfy.

There was a pool in the ground, perhaps so she could wash, and a few crowns on a mahogany table beside the bed—all three crowns were made of an assortment of leaves, flowers, and plants. A desk made of tree bark was also situated in the corner.
