Jack was an amazing brother.
Jack: Why thank you!

Anyway, Jack was amazing brother - if you look at his mortal form, his pants are wound with twine, while his sister's and mother's clothes are perfectly prim and proper. This suggests that either his mother hated him, which is unlikely, or that he was going without because he wanted his family to have more. Isn't that sweet?
PS: Sorry we haven't updated in ages - Anna and Kristoff have been busy, Elsa's been preparing for Christmas, Hiccup went back to Berk to check up on everyone, Merida's been... Being brave (no one really knows) and Jack's been going about his guardian duties... Basically, we've all been really busy. To say sorry, we'll publish some more chapters really soon...
