AMELIAS POV
I heard the alarm clock go off and Owen mumbled something. I rolled into him and he shut the alarm off.
"So early," I complained.
"Come on get up," he said and nudged me.
"Coffee," I said.
"You can get coffee downstairs," he said. I got
up and put on one of his shirts and walked downstairs.
"Good morning," I said to Logan and Ava who were up. A few moments later Olivia and Liam came downstairs.
"Logan do you have soccer today?" I asked.
"Yeah," he said.
"Field hockey ava?" Owen asked.
"Yeah," Ava said.
"I can pick you up at 4 again," I said.
"Well uh Justin said he could drive me home," Ava said. I looked at Owen and smiled.
"Yeah that's okay," Owen said, which was actually a big move for him considering he's been freaking out about the kids dating.
"Okay," Ava smiled. The kids had cereal for breakfast and then they were on their way off to school.
"Bye mom and dad love you," Liam and Ava said.
"Love you too have a good day," Owen and I said. They left and Olivia was packing her bag up at the last second. Owen grabbed their lunches from the fridge and then they were on their way. They left and I walked over to Owen.
"So Justin's driving her home," I said.
"Guess so," he said.
"They're growing up," I frowned.
"Seems like someone is freaking out," he chuckled.
"Oh because you're not," I said. He chuckled and kissed my head. We went into the living room and I snuggled into him on the couch watching the news until Riley and Noah had to get up and get read for school.
OWENS POV
After Amelia and I dropped Riley and Noah at their school we went into work. I was scrubbing out of an OR and I saw Amelia walking with an intern.
"I'll get these back to you later Dr Shepherd," He said.
"Thank you," Amelia said. She walked over to me and smiled.
"Hi," she said.
"Hi," I said.
"How's your day going," she asked.
"Not horrible, I have 2 surgeries later," I said, "you?"
"I've got one in 10 minutes," she said.
"Good luck," I said.
"Thanks," she said. Her pager went off and she frowned.
"I'll see you later," she smiled and kissed my cheek. I watched her walk down the hallway and she was so cute. My pager beeped and I ran over to the ER. There was a 9 year old girl with a head trauma, and Amelia was already monitoring the girls brain.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey," she said. I watched Amelia do a few tests on the little girl to see what was wrong. She had gone for a head CT before so Amelia was going to analyze that soon.
"Do you know where my mommy is?" She asked.
"One of our other doctors is looking at her," Amelia said, "when I go look at your scans I can tell her you're okay. Is that okay Abby?"
"Thank you," Abby said.
"Of course," I said. Amelia finished up and I noticed the little girls arm was bothering her, which I could take care of. Amelia went to go look at the CT and I sat down.
"Is your arm bothering you?" I asked.
"Yeah it hurts," abby said, "I hit it against the car door when my mommy and I got into the accident."
"Do you mind if I take a look at it?" I asked.
"No," she shook her head. I took a look at it and she would definitely need stitches for her cut.
"Do you like her?" Abby asked.
"Who?" I said.
"The doctor who was just in here," she said, "the really pretty one, I saw the way you looked at her."
"Uh yeah I do like her," I chuckled.
"You should tell her," she said, "I think she likes you too."
"I have told her," I chuckled.
"Really?" Abby smiled.
"Yeah," I said, "she's my wife." Abby smiled as I started her stitches.
"It's going to hurt a little okay? If it hurts too much you can tell me to stop and we'll take a break okay?" I said.
"Okay," abby nodded. I started and she flinched a little bit but she was okay.
"Do you know anything about my mom?" She asked.
"I don't," I frowned.
"Can you ask the pretty doctor?" She said, "I don't remember her name."
"Doctor Shepherd," I chuckled, "but I will ask her."
AVAS POV
It was now after school and mom and dad were
home. Justin drove me home today and he asked me to be his girlfriend so now Justin and I were now official. I figured maybe I should tell my mom and dad but, they'd freak out, but I also needed to tell them. I walked down the hall to my parents room. I knocked on the door.
"Come in," my mom said. I opened the door and my mom was folding laundry on her bed and my dad was watching TV on the bed next to her.
"Dad I see you're really good at laundry," I joked.
"Someone felt like being helpful today," my mom joked and thew a sock at him.
"You like doing laundry," my dad protested. My mom chuckled and looked at me.
"What's up?" She said.
"Uh," I said, "Justin and I are boyfriend and girlfriend."
"Oh my gosh that's exciting," my mom smiled.
"When do I get to meet him?" my dad asked.
"Uh I don't know," I chuckled.
"He seems like a very sweet boy," my mom smiled.
"Yeah," I said.
"Does your brother have a girlfriend?" My dad asked.
"Which brother?" I joked.
"Liam," my mom said, "that girl he was talking to?"
"I mean they're still talking I don't think they've gone out," I said.
"Alright," my dad said.
"Owen if you're going to fold laundry can you do it right?" My mom chuckled.
"I am!" My dad said.
"Dad no you're not," I chuckled.
"Hey don't team up on me," my dad joked.
"It's our job," mom chuckled.
"Yeah," I said.
"Here take your pile of laundry," my mom chuckled.
"Wow how generous," I chuckled and took the pile from my mom.
"Bring this to Olivia too," she said.
"Okay," I said.
"Thank you," she said.
"No problem," I said and walked down to my room. I put my pile of clothes on my bed and then walked into Olivias room.
"Liv I have your laundry," I said. I looked at her and she was crying.
"What's wrong?" I said.
"Just put the laundry on my desk thanks," she said. I closed the door behind me and sat down on her bed.
"What's wrong?" I said again.
"I have a secret," she said.
"Okay," I said.
"You can't tell anyone," she sniffled.
"Okay I won't," I said.
"I Uh," she said quietly, "I've know this for a while but I, I like girls, and guys."
"Olivia!" I smiled and hugged her.
"I'm scared to tell people," she said.
"Why?" I said.
"What if they don't accept me like you do?" She said.
"Then they aren't worth your time," I said.
"What about mom and dad?" She said.
"Are you kidding? They're gonna love you either way, no matter if you like guys, girls, or both Liv they love you," I said.
"You're the first person I've told," she said.
"How long have you known?" I said.
"2ish years," she said.
"I love you," I said and hugged her.
"I love you too," she said.
"You have nothing to worry about with mom and dad I promise," I said.
"Do I go tell them now?" She said.
"All up to you," I said.
"I've been think about doing it for weeks and I don't know what to say," she said.
"Just say it, they're not going to be mad," I said.
"Okay," she nodded and got up.
OLIVIAS POV
I was shaking. Ava knew. She was the only on who knew. I had felt this way about myself for a while and I've been wanting to come out, but I'm scared. I believe ava that mom and dad will love me but I don't know. I was walking down the hallway and I started crying because I was so scared. My dad came out of his room and he saw me.
"Liv? What's wrong?" He said.
"I have to tell you and mom something but you can't be mad," I said.
"Okay," he said and I walked into their room where my mom was sitting on their bed.
"Olivia what's wrong?" She said and got up.
"I have something I want to tell you guys," I said quietly, "but please don't hate me."
"Baby we won't hate you no matter what it is," my mom said and patted the spot next to her. I sat down and she put her arm around me and my dad sat across from us.
"Mom, Dad, I've been thinking about this for a while and I don't know how to say it so I'm just going to say it I guess. Uh, I'm bisexual," I said, my voice shaking. I looked at them and my mom smiled.
"You know we wouldn't hate you right?" She said softly and kissed my head.
"I was scared," I said.
"We love you no matter who you like," my dad said and hugged me. I started crying and they both hugged me.
"I'm proud of you for telling us," my mom said.
"Thanks," I shrugged.
"We love you, and support you," My dad said.
"No matter what," my mom smiled, "you never have to feel like we won't accept you because we love you for you, and whoever you like doesn't change how much we love you, it never will."
