AMELIAS POV
The alarm clock went off and I rolled over into Owen.
"Good morning," he said softly.
"Good morning," I said. He was still recovering so I didn't mind getting the kids up for school. I put on sweatpants and walked downstairs and started making coffee, and to my surprise Olivia was already downstairs.
"Someone's up early," I said.
"Well I have a question," she said.
"Alright," I said.
"Can I go to Isabel's house after school?" She asked.
"Sure," I said, "you know you can have her over here right."
"Yeah I know, but she offered again," Olivia said.
"Yeah sure, do you need a ride over there?" I asked.
"No her mom is going to get us," She said.
"Okay," I said. Logan and Liam came downstairs.
"Where's Ava?" I asked.
"Doing makeup," Logan chuckled.
"She wants to impress Justin," Liam mocked.
"Aren't they dating?" I chuckled.
"I do not ask questions, all I know is that she kicked me out of the bathroom," Liam said.
"Me too," Logan said. Ava came downstairs and the kids ate breakfast and then were on their way. I made Owen a cup of coffee and walked upstairs but to my surprise he was fast asleep. I smiled and put the coffee on the desk and crawled back into bed.
AVAS POV
I was sitting in English class so bored. We were taking notes and I wanted to be anywhere else. The bell rang and Mrs.James walked over to my desk.
"Could I talk to you for a second?" She asked, shit, did she realize I wasn't paying attention? I always tried to be a good student and teachers loved me, I was basically panicking because I hated talking to teachers.
"Yeah sure," I said and got up and followed her to her desk.
"So I'm not mad, but I've noticed that you and Liam have had really similar assignments lately and it's good to help each other especially as siblings, but both of your work is almost identical," she said. What? I don't do my homework with Liam.
"Identical?" I said, "I-I don't do my homework with Liam."
"I can show you his latest assignment, it looks just like yours, similar syntax, I'm not mad I'm all for collaboration, I also just like authenticity," she said.
"Could I just take his assignment, I think he had some explaining to do," I chuckled.
"Yeah no worries," she said and handed it to me.
"Sorry about this," I said, "have a nice day."
"Thanks Ava, you too," she said. I was pissed at Liam, we had lunch right now so I could yell at him. I took out my phone and texted him.
"Parking lot. Our car. NOW," I sent. I stormed out of the building and saw him waiting by the car.
"Dude what the fuck," I said and held up his assignment.
"Dude what is that," He said.
"Why don't you look?" I said, "because it looks like my English homework in YOUR handwriting!"
"Chill how did you even get this?" He said.
"Mrs.James because she caught on, are you stealing my assignments?" I said.
"Ava chill out I just look at them after you're done," he said.
"Out of my bag!" I said. He grabbed the paper from my hand and looked at it.
"It's not that big of a deal," he said, "this one was good, you're smart."
"Shut up!" I said, "I'm not talking to you!"
"Fine by me," he scoffed.
OWENS POV
Amelia and I were both home today. The kids would be arriving home from school soon. Amelia wouldn't let me do anything, I was sitting on the couch watching TV while Amelia was in the next room doing laundry.
"Amelia!" I said.
"What!" She said.
"Can you come here?" I asked.
"Give me a minute," she said. A few moments later she came into the living room.
"Hi," I said.
"Hi," she smiled.
"I missed your cute face," I said.
"I missed you too," she said and pecked my lips. The front door opened and it was Logan, he got home early since he didn't have to get Olivia since she was at Isabel's.
"Hey how was school?" I asked.
"Good," he said, "got a lot of homework."
"That stinks," Amelia said.
"Also Ava's in a bad mood," Logan said, "so warning."
"Did something happen with her and Justin?"
Amelia asked.
"Is she okay?" I asked.
"Hey I don't know she just told me she was upset," He said. I heard a car door slam and arguing from outside. The front door opened and Liam and Ava were yelling at each other.
"Dude fuck you this is your fault!" Ava said.
"You're blowing this out of proportion!" Liam said.
"Am not!" Ava said.
"Stop yelling!" I said.
"Both of you sit now," Amelia said.
"That's my cue to leave," Logan said.
"What is going on?" I said.
"Liam thought it would be a good idea to steal my homework out of my bag and copy it!" Ava said.
"Liam!" Amelia said.
"It only took the teacher 2 months to figure it out I don't know why you're so mad!" Liam said.
"2 MONTHS ARE YOU JOKING!" Ava said.
"Stop yelling!" Amelia said, "Liam is this true?"
"Well yeah," Liam said.
"You can't do that Liam," I chuckled.
"I'm not talking to you," ava said.
"Liam I'm disappointed in you," Amelia said.
"Okay I'm sorry," Liam said.
"You're sorry you got caught!" Ava said and got up.
"Ava!" Liam said.
"She's right," I said. Amelia looked at me and she mouthed "do we ground him."
"Yes," I mouthed.
"A week?" She mouthed. I nodded.
"I can't read lips," Liam said.
"You're grounded for a week," I said. He sighed and stormed upstairs.
"What are we going to do with him," I chuckled.
"Stealing Ava's homework," She chuckled, "sounds like something I would do."
"You were so rebellious weren't you," I chuckled.
"Besides the drugs yes," she chuckled.
"I love you," I said.
"I love you too," she said. The front door opened and it was Olivia, Isabel's mom dropped her off.
"Hey," I said.
"Why is ava upset?" She asked.
"Did Ava tell everyone she was upset," Amelia chuckled.
"She texted me and said I want to kill Liam," Liv chuckled.
AMELIAS POV
Liam, stealing Ava's homework? Sounded like a me move. Owen and I grounded him because he needed to learn his lesson to do his own homework. I walked into the kitchen and Olivia was working on something.
"Whatcha doing?" I asked.
"French homework," she said.
"Oh amusant," (I'm using google translate so I'm sorry if this is off I don't speak French) I said.
"You don't have to rub it in," She chuckled, "what does that mean?"
"Oh fun," I chuckled and grabbed water, "do you want help?"
"Yes," she said. I sat down next to her and I looked over her shoulder.
"You spelt that wrong," I chuckled.
"Oops," she said.
"You have a word bank!" I chuckled.
"How do you say apple?" She asked.
"Pomme," I said.
"Gracias," she said.
"Wrong language," I joked.
"Shut up," she said.
"Hey I'm helping," I said.
"Yes thank you," she said.
"Vous êstes les bienvenus," I said.
"See I know that means you're welcome," she said.
"Well I'm glad you know that much," I said.
"How do you remember so much if you were so small?" She asked.
"Kinda just stuck, and your father and I went to Paris on our honeymoon so it was useful then," I said.
"I thought you went to Mexico," She said.
"Oh we did, we didn't wanna compromise on it so we went to both," I laughed.
"That sounds like a good compromise to me," she chuckled.
