AMELIAS POV
I was walking with Riley and Noah to get food while everyone else was laying out in the sun. I saw Cristina, Owen's ex wife. I can't believe it. Did he see her? Why didn't he mention it? What if he still had feelings for her? I mean he never told me why it ended, what if he never lost feelings for her?
"Can we get ice cream?" Noah asked.
"Please?" Riley asked.
"Sure why not," I shrugged and we walked over to an ice cream stand, where I saw Cristina sitting at a table with who I assumed was her husband. Her being here made me so anxious. I got ice cream with them and we sat down at a table by this little restaurant.
"Mommy when we go back to the boat can we go on the water slides again?" Noah asked.
"Sure," I said.
"I want to go on the go karts!" Riley said.
"Okay well why don't we talk to daddy and he can take one of you and I'll take which ever one he doesn't," I said. They looked at each other and nodded.
"Sound good?" I chuckled.
"Yeah," riley said.
"Okay," I smiled.
OWENS POV
I felt like Amelia was avoiding me. I don't know what I did but every time I tried talking to her she just redirected the conversation to the kids. We were back on the boat now and Noah wanted to go back on the water slides so Ava and I were going to go with him, and Amelia and Logan were going with Riley to the go karts. Olivia and Liam wanted to shower and just watch TV so that's what they're doing. Noah ran to one of the water slides and Ava and I watched him in line.
"Do you think your mother is ignoring me?" I asked.
"Oh like avoiding every conversation and going to me and Olivia? Yes," she chuckled.
"Oh good you noticed," I said.
"What's going on?" She said.
"I don't know," I said, "you know your mother, when something bothers her she shuts everyone out."
"Do you think she saw Cristina?" Ava said.
"God I hope not," I said, "she'll be mad I didn't tell her."
"She won't be mad," Ava said.
"Well then what's going on?" I said.
"I don't know, just ask to talk to her," Ava said.
"Yeah," I said.
"Ava!" Noah called.
"I'll be back," Ava chuckled as she ran over to him and went on the water slide together.

I was back in the room sitting on the bed watching TV. Amelia, Logan, and Riley were still downstairs and I was waiting for them to come back so I could talk to Amelia. Maybe she did see Cristina, but why would she be mad? I mean there's nothing between us. Our door opened and it was Amelia. She was crying. She looked up and saw me and froze.
"Oh hey I thought you were still downstairs," she said and wiped her eyes.
"Hey honey what's wrong?" I said and got up.
"Nothing, there's something in my eye," she said.
"I'm not an idiot, you're crying Mia, what's wrong? Did something happen?" I said.
"I saw Cristina today," she said.
"Yeah I meant to mention that, I saw her but avoided her because I dislike her so much and I didn't think I needed to tell you," I said.
"If you didn't tell me do you still have feelings for her?" She said sadly.
"Amelia are you kidding? Me? Having feelings for Cristina? Honey you sound insane. Our marriage ended nearly 22 years ago, god honey I love you so much. I love our family, I haven't seen Cristina in forever. I haven't thought about Cristina in forever. I didn't bring it up because I didn't think it was a big deal because she's nothing to me. Don't ever doubt yourself, I love you so much, you're everything to me Mia. You're my wife, the mother of our 6 amazing children. I love you, only you. You are the woman for me. I'm sorry I didn't tell you I saw her, I should have, but I wanted to avoid this because there's absolutely nothing between us. I love you Amelia, so much, I promise I love you, and only you," I said. She started crying harder but smiled.
"I love you so much Owen," she said and hugged me, "I'm sorry for over reacting about this."
"No it's okay," I said and pushed a piece of hair behind her ear. I kissed her softly and she wrapped her arms around my neck.
"You really thought I had feelings for cristina," I laughed.
"It's not funny!" She laughed.
"Then why are you laughing?" I laughed and she giggled. I picked her up and put her on the bed and she laughed as I climbed on top of her.
"You're the only person that could make me go from bawling to laughing," she chuckled.
"Well that's what I'm here for," I smiled.
"I never want to leave," she said. I laid down next to her and we were both staring at the ceiling.
"Yeah me either," I said.
"The kids love it here," she said.
"I know," I said.
"Olivia also met Cristina," she said.
"Ava, Liam, and Logan know," I chuckled.
"Keeping secrets are we?" She chuckled.
"I promise not," I said and kissed her cheek.
"I am so sorry I let seeing Cristina get the best of me," she said.
"It's okay," I said softly and stroked her cheek with my thumb.
"I could lay here with you all day," she said.
"I could too," I said. There was a knock on our door and I got up. I opened it and it was Noah.
"I'm ready for bed," he said. Amelia and I followed him into the boys' room and then tucked him into bed.
"You two going to bed soon?" I looked at Liam and Logan.
"Dude it's 9:30," Logan chuckled.
"Hey I'm tired," Amelia chuckled and walked across the hall to the girls' room to say goodnight to riley. I followed her and did the same. Everyone else would probably doze off around 12 or 1am and Amelia and I were far to tired to stay up that late. I opened our door and Amelia ran over to the bed and I chuckled.
"Tired are we?" I said.
"Yes," she said and put her arms in the air, "join me." I walked over and let her wrap her arms around my neck and I kissed her.
"I'm so tired," she chuckled and crawled under the covers and onto my pillow.
"Hey move over," I joked.
"Fine," she said and rolled over and I climbed into bed. She snuggled into me and I held her waist.
"Good night Amelia," I said, "I love you so much."
"Good night," she said sleepily, "I love you too Owen."
