A/n- okay sorry the format gets a little weird throughout I typed half of it on my computer lol.

OWENS POV
Today after school Ava was having Justin over, which meant Amelia and I could finally meet him. Amelia and I took half shifts today so we worked from 9-2. The kids would be home from school soon. I was excited to meet Justin, Amelia seemed stressed. We were sitting at the kitchen table on our computers. I looked over mine and she looked worried.
"Amelia," I said.
"Mhm," she said.
"Are you worried," I said.
"No," she said.
"Are you sure?" I chuckled.
"I'm stressed," she corrected.
"About Justin?" I said.
"No work," she said. The front door opened and Amelia smiled.
"I can't wait to meet him," she said softly.
"Me too," I said. Ava came into the kitchen with Justin and Amelia smiled.
"Uh mom and dad, this is my boyfriend Justin, and Justin these are my parents," Ava smiled.
"It's so nice to meet you," Amelia smiled and shook his hand.
"You too," Justin said and then shook my hand. They went upstairs to ava's room, which Amelia and I were very clear that her door had to stay open.
"He seems nice," Amelia said.
"Yeah," I said.
-
Justin was still here so him and Ava were upstairs. Logan, Liam, and Olivia were in their rooms doing homework, and Amelia and I were helping Noah and Riley with their homework.
Honestly they could do their homework theirselves but they liked having us check it. Amelia was helping Noah with an English assignment and I was helping Riley with math, since we all know math wasn't Amelias subject.
"Daddy is that right?" Riley asked and pointed to one of the problems. I looked at it and nodded.
"Looks right kiddo," I said.
"Yay!" She smiled.
"Good job," I said and kissed her head.
"How do I spell definitely?" Noah asked.
"D-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y," Amelia spelled.
"Like this?" Noah asked.
"Change that e to an i," Amelia said and kissed his head.
"Okay," Noah nodded, "I'm done!"
"Alright good job," Amelia said as noah put his papers neatly in his folder and ran to go put it in his bag.
"I wanna he done with my homework," Riley pouted.
"You are almost done you have 4 problems left," I said.
"But Noah is done," Riley said.
"You can be done too in a few minutes," Amelia said and came over and sat down next to me.
"Okay," Riley nodded and started doing the rest of her math problems. She finished and opened her folder and handed me a paper.
"It's parent night at school," riley said cutely, "can you guys come?"
"Of course we can," Amelia smiled. Amelia put the date into her calendar so that we can talk to bailey about working around it.
"Yay!" Riley said.
"Why don't you go grab a magnet on the fridge and hang this up so we can all remember okay?" I said.
"Okay!" Riley said and ran into the kitchen.
"She's so cute," Amelia smiled.
"Like you," I said. She scrunched her nose and smiled.
AMELIAS POV
Owen and I were cooking dinner, and by Owen and I, I mean I was watching Owen cook considering he was a much better cook than me. Ava and Justin came into the kitchen and I smiled.
"Well um Mr. and Mrs. Hunt I have to go home
now for dinner but it was really nice meeting you guys and thank you for having me over," Justin said. I could tell he was a little nervous.
"Oh of course Justin," I said, "it was lovely meeting you too."
"Glad to finally meet you Justin," Owen smiled. Ava walked out with him to his car and she came back into the kitchen.
"So?" She said.
"I like him," I said, "he was very polite."
"I agree," Owen said.
"Really?" She smiled.
"Yeah," I nodded.
"Yay," Ava smiled, "what's for dinner?"
"Spaghetti," Owen said.
"Okay," Ava said and went back upstairs. I got up and wrapped my arms around Owens waist.
"Mia I'm trying to cook," he chuckled.
"I know," I said.
"Okay," he said softly and kissed my forehead.
-
I was in the bathroom washing my face and I felt Owen grab my hips.
"Owen," I chuckled.
"What?" He said as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I washed my face and turned my head and kissed his cheek.
"So what did you think of Justin?" I asked.
"I thought he was very nice," Owen said.
"Me too," I said. I felt Owen move his hands under my shirt. I put my hand on top of his and chuckled.
"Someone's in a good mood," I said.
"Oh come on and you're not?" He said as he started kissing my neck. I smiled and kissed him passionately. We moved over to the bed and started making out as I unbuckled his pants. There was a knock at our door and I sighed.
"Yes?" I said as Owen buckled his pants.
"There's no more toilet paper in the bathroom," Logan said. I looked at Owen and chuckled.
"Okay," I said and got up. I walked into the hallway and grabbed a roll of toilet paper for Logan. When I walked back into Owen and I's bedroom, he wasn't in bed. I went back into the hallway and I heard him talking to Riley. I walked closer to her door to listen because Riley sounded upset about something.

"Daddy it was a really scary dream," she said softly.

"I'm sure it was baby but it was only a dream I promise," Owen said calmly, "Whatever it was didn't happen and you're okay."

"I'm scared," she said.

"What happened?" Owen asked.

"You and mommy got hurt," Riley said in a small voice. My heart broke for her, I know how vivid dreams can be and she must have been so scared.

"I'm sorry Riley, but mommy and I are perfectly fine and nobody or nothing is going to hurt us, we're right here and we're all safe. I promise," Owen said.

"Can you go get mommy?" Riley asked.

"Yes hold on," Owen said. He got up and walked out of her room and saw me listening.

"Hey," he said.

"Hi," I said.

"I see someone was eavesdropping," he joked.

"It's my job," I chuckled. I walked into Riley's room and she was sitting on her bed curled up with her favorite stuffed animals. She looked so scared and hurt. I sat down next to her and she put her head in my lap.

"Riley honey nobody is going to hurt us okay?" I said softly, "I know you're scared because of your dream but I promise it was only a dream okay?" She nodded and I kissed her head.

"Mommy do you ever have bad dreams?" she asked. I thought of the countless nightmares I've had of Christopher, relapsing, losing Owen, my dad, and everything else.

"Yeah," I said and nodded.

"Do you daddy?" Riley asked. Owen nodded.

"We all do," Owen said, "but they're just dreams."

"Can I sleep in your room tonight? Please?" Riley begged. I looked at Owen and I couldn't say no to her. She was so scared and fragile.

"Yes," Owen said. We got up and Owen picked up Riley and ran down the hallway with her. I smiled at my adorable husband, he was so good with all of our kids.
