OWENS POV
I got to go home today. Amelia was filling out my discharge papers and the kids stayed home from school today so we can all spend the day together.
"You are all set," Amelia smiled and kissed me.
"Good," I said.
"I'm warning you," she said, "our room is a mess."
"Okay," I chuckled.
"The rest of the house is clean I promise," she said.
"I don't care," I chuckled, "I get to go home with you and the kids I don't care if the room is messy."
"Good," she chuckled.

The kids were at the house with my mom and Amelia was driving us home. She unlocked the door and helped me inside. I could walk, I was a little sore but Amelia wouldn't let me walk by myself. I'm supposed to be on best rest which is boring.
"Are you resting upstairs or downstairs?" I asked.
"Can't I just walk around the house," he said.
"You're on bed rest for a week," I said.
"Mia," He complained. The kids ran down the stairs to say hi to Owen. We all ate lunch together and then Owen's mom had to go to work so we said goodbye to her. I was cleaning up lunch and Owen was sitting at the table.
"I don't like being a patient," he mumbled.
"It won't be for that long I promise," I said and kissed his cheek.
OWENS POV
I was resting in bed and I was so bored. I hated being on bed rest, but I was alive. I was watching Amelia clean because she refused to let me help. The room wasn't even that messy besides a few bowls she left on the desk and a few shirts.
"I don't think this is my shirt," she chuckled and looked at it.
"It looks like Ava's," I said.
"I think you're right," she said and put it in the hamper.
"Can you let me do something?" I begged.
"Bailey was pretty specific when she said bed rest Owen," she said, she came over and kissed my cheek and finished putting stuff away.
"Did you eat all the good cereal," I joked, looking at the empty bowls.
"There's more," She chuckled, "you know I did go to the store in 3 weeks."
"Impressive," I said.
"I know right," she chuckled and came down and sat next to me.
"I'm so glad you're okay," she said and kissed my forehead.
"Me too," I said.
"I couldn't do this without you," she said, "I really couldn't."
"Well it's okay because I'm here," I said and pushed a peace of hair behind her ear as I kissed her. She giggled and smiled. She was so cute.
"You're beautiful," I said. She blushed and smiled.
"You're pretty cute yourself," she said. I was so in love with her, I admired my gorgeous wife next to me and couldn't help but feel so thankful.
"What?" She said.
"What," I said.
"Why are you looking at me like that," she chuckled.
"Like what," I said.
"I don't know," she chuckled.
"It's because I was thinking about how lucky I am to have you as my wife and the mother of our children," I said.
"You're so sweet," she said, "what did I do to deserve you?"
"What did I do to deserve you?" I said, "you're the best, I love you so much."
"I love you too," she said and pecked my lips again.
AMELIAS POV
Owen was resting upstairs and I was cooking dinner. I felt my phone ring and it was Owen. I chuckled and hit accept.
"How's the patient doing?" I chuckled.
"Bored," he said, "come visit me."
"Talk to one of the kids I'm cooking," I chuckled.
"Amelia? Cooking?" He chuckled.
"Shut up," I chuckled, "do you want dinner?"
"Yes," he said.
"Okay I will see you in a few minutes," I chuckled as I saw Ava come into the kitchen. I hung up and looked at her.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey," she said.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Could we go to a meeting tonight?" She asked.
"Yeah of course, is everything alright," I said.
"Yeah everything is fine, I've just been stressed the past few days about dad before he woke up and now I have school work and I'm just really craving right now," she said.
"I felt that one," I sighed, "I wanted to go earlier in the week but I obviously failed at that, if we eat dinner soon we can make one at 8."
"Okay," she said.
"And I'm proud of you, for asking to go to a meeting instead of smoking," I said.
"Thanks mom," she said, "I love you."
"I love you too," I said. I finished dinner and made Owen a bowl and walked upstairs. I opened the bedroom door and of course he wasn't resting in bed. I saw Logan's door opened so I walked down there. I looked in the doorway and he was playing video games with Logan.
"I see someone is responsibly listening to Bailey's request of bed rest," I said.
"Dad came in here I didn't offer!" Logan said.
"Hey!" Owen said. I chuckled and kissed both their heads and figured with the kids catching up on school, Owen resting, and Ava and I going to a meeting everyone could just eat in their own rooms.
-
I was washing dishes and I heard footsteps in the kitchen. I thought it would be Ava but to my surprise it was Noah.
"Hey buddy what's up?" I asked.
"Can we re organize my closet?" He asked.
"Right now?" I chuckled.
"Yeah," he said.
"I have to go run a few errands with Ava but tomorrow?" I said. He nodded and walked to the fridge and grabbed a water. Ava came downstairs and I grabbed my keys.
"You ready?" I asked.
"Yeah," she said.
"Where are you going?" Olivia asked as she came into the kitchen.
"To run a few errands," I said.
"Can I come?" Olivia asked.
"No," Ava said.
"Fine whatever," Olivia said and walked back upstairs.
"You know you don't have to be mean," I chuckled as we walked the the car. She chuckled and got in the passenger seat and I started driving.
AVAS POV
I was so lucky to have my mom, she was so considerate of everything and always looking out for me. I was so glad I had such a good mom like her that would bring me to meetings whenever I needed it. We were walking out of AA and my mom looked so tired.
"You look tired," I chuckled.
"You're father is stressing me out," she chuckled, "Refusing to be on bed rest."
"Just tell him that," I said, "communicate."
"Shut up we know how to communicate," she laughed, "he's just annoying." I chuckled and she unlocked the car.
"I do love him though," she smiled which made me smile.
