Today was the last day of school. The kids were estatic. Today was Noah's last day of elementary school, he would be a big middle schooler next year. Olivia was entering high school next year. Logan would be a Junior, the twins would be seniors, and Riley would be starting 5th grade. Owen and Amelia were sleeping in their bed, cuddled into one another like they were every morning, when the alarm clock went off.
"Owen," Amelia groaned, as she hated the sound of the alarm.
"I'm getting it," Owen chuckled. Both got up and got dressed for the day. The kids were already awake and ready for school, I mean, it was the very last day. Owen made breakfast and the kids packed their lunches.
"Everyone excited?" Amelia said.
"Yes," Olivia, Logan, Ava, and Liam said.
"It's almost summer time!" Ava said.
"Yup," Owen said.
"I'm so excited," Olivia said.
"Me too," Logan said.

The four teenagers went to school and it was time for Riley and Noah to enjoy their last day too. They went through their normal morning routine and watched TV, ate breakfast, and dropped the kids off at school. Finally, Owen and Amelia were home alone.
"They're growing up," Amelia said.
"Mia we have this conversation every year," Owen chuckled.
"I know!" Amelia pouted.
"You're incredibly cute when you pout," Owen chuckled.
"I know," she chuckled.

The day flew by and it was already the end of the school year for the kids. The four teenagers came home excited for summer to finally start.
"No more school!" Olivia smiled.
"Liv you kinda have to go back next year," Her mother chuckled as she hugged her.
"We're seniors now," Liam said as he looked at his twin sister Ava.
"Crazy," Ava chuckled.
"Crazy indeed," Liam nodded. A few hours went by and the family enjoyed the stressful free night as the kids had no homework or projects to work on. Amelia went to go pick up noah and riley from elementary school and they were so excited for summer to start.
"Mommy can we swim in the pool today?"
Riley asked.
"Sure," Her mother nodded.
"Swimming?" Noah smiled.
"Yup, it is summer now," Amelia smiled at her two adorable children sitting in the back seat. She drove away from the school and drove home. Amelia unlocked the front door and the kids and Owen were already in the pool. Noah and Riley dropped their bags and ran upstairs to change. Amelia walked out the back door and Owen got out of the pool.
"Hey," Owen smiled at his adorable wife and pecked her lips.
"Hi," Amelia said. He went to wrap his arms around her and she stopped him.
"You're all wet idiot," Amelia chuckled.
"So?" Owen chuckled. Riley and Noah raced down the stairs of their house and jumped into the pool. The happily married couple looked at their perfect 6 children playing in the pool for the perfect start of summer. Amelia admired her adorable husband and kissed his cheek.
"I love our family Owen," she smiled.
"I love our family too Amelia," he smiled. They both smiled at each other and watched the joy in their children's faces as they celebrated being done with school.
