Tony saves the day and Val leaves

Three days later I walk down the long hallways of the palace with my hoody up and hands tucked into my pockets. As I pass a guard I hear, I'm so tired. I wish I could sit down.

I force myself to keep walking as I realise his mouth never moved. He would never say that to anyone related to the royal blood in fear of being told on and losing their job. I heard his thoughts. I had heard his thoughts and didn't even have to be focusing on him.

I walk faster and pass a servant and she squeaks only to bump into a guard.

The guard's thoughts crowd my mind. Bump into me again and I'll kill you. I look over at him but he stoops down and helps the servant up. I run to the end of the hall and out through the courtyard. I pass a guard and suddenly I hear, I should put that leaf in my mouth, I look over to see the guard staring at a leaf in irritation.

I teleport into my bedroom and lie down on my bed eyes shut.

Why the hell does Raven always walk around like a homeless peasant.

What the hell is Raven's issue.

Why didn't she just stay dead. Oh, wait that's right not even the All-father wanted her.

I bury my head into a pillow and scream into it.

Then suddenly from darkness I hear, I wish I had her powers. I would use it to change so much around here. If I had her status and her powers, I would change everything for better. If I had half the amount of free time Raven has, I would go and find us a planet like Asgard and move everyone there so we can leave. So, we wouldn't have as many attacks as we do.'

I frown and sit up. That's a good idea. I connect to the mind and call out to them over mind link. What's your name?

They fall silent then I hear, ahh shit. She heard me.

Who are you?

Ehh, you know me...Tony.

'Tony?' I gasp. I teleport to where I find his thoughts coming from. He jumps backwards from the mirror, turns and slowly faces me.

'So, you found me.'

'I always find the lost. Why are you here Tony? Apart from giving me good ideas?'

'Your father called me. He told me that you haven't been yourself lately.'

'Yeah,' I look down at my feet and shuffle them a little. 'Wait since when do you two call each other.'

'Since despite everything you only really talk to me.'

I fall silent.

'Anyway, didn't you used to have to be in physical contact with someone to read their mind?'

I shake my head. 'It's more fun that way but no it was that I had to be in the same room as them.'

'You heard my thoughts from across the castle.'

I nod and fidget more.

'How?'

I sigh. 'It's only just started but I can hear everyone's thoughts. I can suddenly read everyone's minds without having to be anyone near them. Like right now I can hear a farmer wonder what he will have for dinner.'

He frowns.

'That farmer lives out near the very back of Asgard,' I clamp my eyes shut as the thoughts grow louder.
