'What's this?' Val lifts her head up and looks up at me. I place the coffee cup in front of her. 'When was the last time you got some sleep?'

'A few days ago, and that is a new toxin we can use.'

'Ooh, since when were you good at making this kind of stuff?'

She only smiles and turns on her computer.

'Basically, this can make you go crazy.'

'Sweet.'

'Since when did you bring me coffee?' She studies me. 'Alright what do you want?'

I at least smirk before telling her my real reason for visiting. 'I want some cool arrow tips.'

'For fun o patrol?'

'Your father said he doesn't mind.'

'Woah, you went to my Father about this?'

'Yeah he said it is a good idea to have advanced weapons.'

'I can make them with bomb tips. So, after a few seconds of it in the body it explodes. Can't you just go to Hawkeye?'

'No? Why would we when we have your intelligent brain?' I reply as I ruffle her hair. She pushes my hand away.

'Alright get out of my lab,' Val says as she sips at her coffee.

I smirk and teleport back to my room where my book waits for me.

Hours later, Val screams in pain. I race down the hallways and ignore Loki as he runs with me.

'What happened!' I yell as I come to a stop. A moment later, Thor comes in.

'Some idiot tried running downstairs while concussed,' my brother says. i glance at him confused. Since when was Val concussed?

'Yeah, he ran that way! Quick get him!' Val yells while running at me.

'Val shut up. We need to put your leg back in place.'

'Hang on...Holy child BIRTH!' Val yells as Archer puts her leg back in place.

'I'm fine let me go.' Val snaps as Archer helps her up.

'Okay,' Archer says cautiously but the second he lets her go she falls to the floor and passes out.

'Ok, since she was knocked out. I was able to do some testing. You ready for this; extremely fatigued, low iron, low calcium, low blood levels, concussion, seriously dehydrated and on the verge of starving.'

'Oh Val,' I whisper.

'What? Leave me alone.' Val opens her eyes, gets up, walks out of the room and walks away.

'What THE FUCK!' Sheyells as her doors are locked.

'You are not going back in there until you have had a rest,' I state. I carefully rest my hand on her shoulder and instantly flames up. I flinch and move back, nursing my hand.

'GET OFF ME!' She says as she runs away.

'Oh gods, quick put her on here,' her body falls limp as I put her down on the table.

'Oh my god. WHAT HAPPENED?'

'My king, I need for you to leave the room.'

'What happened?'

'Will she be ok?'

'I don't know. She was attacked with ice. The open wounds were exposed to cold making it worse. At this point, I am very sorry. I don't think she will...'

Thor screams.

'HOW MANY TIMES WILL WE HAVE TO WATCH HER DIE!' Loki yells.

'Val, I need you to fight, you can't come back after this one. Please fight.'

'Get Alec please,' I demand.

A moment later. 'How many times do we have to watch you die?'

Even I can see she is struggling to open her eyes and smiles as she finally does.

'Val,' she sits up on the table. 'What are you doing! Get down.'

'I want to say goodbye, I won't make it. Look at these lashings. I am only alive right now because I am healing my heart every second from failing. I'm sorry I shouldn't have gone alone, I'm sorry.'

'Shutup!' I run to her and hug her tightly. 'Please don't go. Not again.'

She drops to the floor again.

'Everyone out so I can help her,' Alec orders.

I refuse to leave and start yelling. Thor starts yelling as well and Alec walks in and stabs something into her chest. He pulls her out of my grip and carries her onto the bed. Thor storms out of the room and Alec waits with his back turned.

'I'm not leaving Alec.'

'Why not?' She means nothing to you anyway,' he snarls.

The ravens caw above my head and I run out of the room with them following me.
