'Seriously, I said tomorrow. And did I die again?'

'Yep,' I say as I walk up beside Val, my boots echoing in the golden palace. 'Where did you go?'

'Medical emergency and I am sorry about Archer.'

'Val please we will talk about it later.' I say, dismissing the idea of talking about it while I'm trapped in Valhalla.

'You hit him with a frypan,' I laugh as the earlier emergency discussion comes back to me.

'Yeah, I also dropped him many times.'

'Girls!' Odin yells as he grows sick of us not acknowledging his looming presence on the throne in front of us.

'Yeasssss,' we both reply turning to face him.

'I have been watching you and Val. You two are not only strong; you are willing and would do anything for Asgard. Therefore I would like to make you two, protectors of Asgard.'

'Yes!' Val says excitedly.

'Yeah...no,' my voice is loud as I nervously pick at my right hand. 'This is useless, and I am going back, so if you would gladly send me back that would be great,' I reply as I turn and walk out of the room. The moment I leave the room, I appear back in Asgard, lying on the couch with Archer and Loki staring down at me.

'And..she's back.'

'Told you,' Loki replies as he steps forwards and hands me a glass of water. I let Archer help me sit up and take the drink from Loki. They're silent until I finish the drink—both observing me.

'Alright, I can feel the questions burning you. Ask away.' I sink into the cushions on the couch, shivering with exhaustion.

'This one is for the both of you,' Archer begins. He stops himself as Loki leaves the room. 'Now, where is he going?' he mutters to himself.

'He'll be back,' I reply.

As I finish talking Loki appears in front of me holding a blanket. He drapes it over me and turns to Archer. 'You were saying?'

'Who is Odin, and why are you both so calm about the Raven just died, and her last word was Odin?'

'Odin Allfather-'

'Ain't much of an Allfather when he won't keep me alive or dead,' I say as I pull the blanket over my shoulders.

Loki looks at me and continues. 'Is Thor's father and my adoptive father. When Raven first died, she and Odin had a disagreement which has led to any time Raven dies she's immediately sent back.'

'Isn't Raven a goddess?'

'Odin cut corners. I've already shown you this. I have the strength, speed and the power of a goddess. When it comes to durability and you know...not dying all the time, I luck out.'

'But why did you die and randomly.'

'Odin wanted to talk to me in person. He does the same thing with Val all the time.'

'So what did he want this time?' Loki interrupts.

'Wanted to continue to tie me to Asgard by trying to make me a "protector of Asgard".'

Loki and Archer look at each other. 'Okay. That's enough for today. Raven go and lie down for a bit. I'll see you at dinner. Archer stay here. I want to talk to you.'

I wrap the blanket around me and teleport into my room. I lie down on my bed only to sit up as I sense Valarie is back in Asgard.

'Hey, so how did you die again?' I ask as I appear by her side. 'Uh, what the fuck?' I say as I see the wings on her back.

'Well after you left Odin and I had a little chit chat must have made me the protector of Asgard, bluh bluh,' she replies looks back to her giant ass white wings that are somehow attached to her back.

'What else did you talk about?' I ask, ignoring her as she moves her wings in and out. She doesn't reply and continues to flex her wings.

'ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION?' I yell to get her attention.

'What, I am just so freaked out but also surprised. I HAVE WINGS! Oh, let's try them out.' She flies off into the air. I look around me, sigh and pull out my phone as it starts to ring. It's Valarie.

'Yes?' I answer the phone while continue looking around at the forest around me.

'Oh your still alive. Where are you?' she asks breathlessly while wind rushes in the background.

'Halfway between the packhouse and Asgard,' I reply as I stare at the tree in front of me in irritation.

'I'm tired, and this day has been traumatic, and I just want to spend the rest of the day with my arms wrapped around my children.' she replies before hanging up. I put my phone away as I hear wings flapping above me. I grunt and stumble back as the wind of her wings push me back. I look up to see her flying off with Alec. Shrugging, I turn around and teleport back to my father.
