'Where's Val?' I ask Loki an hour later.
'Last I knew she was in the infirmary.'
'Why?'
'She is doing a blood transfusion.'
'Huh?'
'She is giving Alec some of her blood so he can live and also to make him immortal to some point.'
'Oh fabulous,' I stand up and walk to the door.
'Where are you going?'
'To go and check up on the two love birds.'
'Did you see where he went?'
'No sorry,' the servant replies.
'Because I am awesome, I had my Ravens follow him,' I tell them as I enter the infirmary.
'Not the time Raven but thank you.' Val hurries out the door but I stop her.
'Valarie I am coming with you, you need me,' I tell her as I let go of her and all but run after her as she hurries off.
'Yeah good idea and it's best we take our time.'
'Wait, did you just agree with me?' She shivers in the cold wind that blows through the open hallways. I pass her a jacket out of The Space and she takes it with a small smile.
'I died again,' she says.
I look at her.
'I went to check over the house, but there was a second bomb that destroyed anything that was left over. I was hit and died.'
I scrunch up my face as I struggle to think of the spell. 'I can help find things.'
'What and make me feel useless?'
'No! What I mean is that there is a spell. I've learnt where I can make things go back to how it was moments before.'
'Time travel.' Val stops walking and looks back at me.
'Valarie, shut it and listen.' she snickers. 'Be quiet and I'll show you,' I say as I grab hold of her and teleport us to outside the place.
I look around me. Everything is ruined and burnt. 'Alright how long ago did this happen?'
'I don't know exactly when, a few hours ago?'
I sigh in relief. 'At least it wasn't days ago. Okay I need you to remain quiet and focus on what it looked like before it blew up. Every small detail.'
'You just told me to be quiet.'
'Dude do you want to find the murderer. This will help identify him.'
'Ok,alright. It basically a mansion times two, it could fit everyone. Red brick, old interior. Grand staircase, just as you walked in. If you were to walk up the stairs and turn right, it would be a long hallway of officers, including Alec's. To the left was where the Beta and other secondary leaders would sleep. Then another right was mine and Alec's room. And then another left, it was a long vast hallway of so many doorways, theses were like dorms, for our fighters. Fighters without families. Then downstairs the kitchen was right under the stairway, just through the door led to to the huge dining room, all the wolves would eat there. Then on the other side, we had the elders room. The rest of downstairs had games rooms, a theatre, library and right at the end, the door to the orphanage.'
I glance over at her as her voice starts to crack. Tears well up in her eyes.
'Valarie,' I rest my hand on her shoulders.
