A week and two days later I stroll down the hallway ignoring the decorations going on as I see Valarie with her two kids. She spots me.

'Hey, I will be right back, just need to get these two home and in bed,' Val hurries past me. I turn and watch her leave the hall then shrug and keep walking towards the Throne Room to tell Thor I'm back.

After a few minutes,  I teleport to Val's home and knock on the door. The blind moves in the window and I see Val peeking out at me.

'I'm coming in,' I warn her. She disappears and I walk in. I take no notice of Alec and sit down at the counter.

'You two are acting so weird,' I say watching as Alec lifts his eyebrow and looks at Val. Val wiggles her eyebrows.

'What?' Alec whispers. Val shakes her head.

'Hey hon where is Alia's bear?' Alec calls out as he walks down the stairs. I frown as I stare from Alec to the other Alec.

'Raven, you remember my twin brother Kalen,' Alec that just came from down the stairs says.

'Yes, I do. The guy that almost killed you and Val,' I reply slowly.

'Yeah sorry about that, I am just a huge dick,' the not Alec says. Kalen.

'Look Raven I need to ask you to leave. We are having family issues,' Val grabs me and pushes me out of my house. She stops pushing me once I'm standing on the porch. I glare at her.

'I am so sorry,' Val says as she shuts the door. I stare at the door confused, shrug and teleport back to my room to read for a bit.

After lunch, I walk towards Thor's study to hand him the paper work I finished filling out for him when a fire man stands guard at the door.

'What the fuck?' I swear.

'No one is allowed in,' it tells me.

'How long?' I reply groaning.

'Until I disappear.'

'Fine. I'll just make you disappear.'

'Raven that won't be necessary,' Thor's voice interrupts me. I look up and Val walks out from behind him. She shoots me a small smile and the fire man disappears.

'Come in Raven.'

'Jeeze your popular today,' I tell Thor as I walk past him and into the study room. I put down the wad of paperwork on his desk.

An hour later after going through the paperwork with Thor I stand up.

'So how long are you going to stay here for?'

'I don't know yet. I am definitely going to be here for the competition though.'

Thor nods and smiles a little. 'Wouldn't expect anything else from the princess's bodyguard.'

I scowl at the title and turn to the door.

'Well let me know two days before you leave so we can throw you a party.'

'I don't-'

'Don't like parties. I know. But it still protocol. Besides what else could Asgard offer you?'

I sigh and touch the door. 'Asgard had so much to offer and could have offered me everything but the rulers were and are always oblivious to what they had to offer.'

'What?'

I open the door.

'Raven what do you mean?' I hear Thor yell as I leave and walk down the hallway and into my room.

A few hours later, I take one more look down at my bike as it sits parked in the middle of the courtyard before taking a seat in my couch and watch my ravens. There's a knock on the balcony door. I look up, frown and open the door. I walk out and look around. The door slams shut and I hear it lock. I spin around but the curtains are shut.

'Who is in there?" I shout as I slam the door open. I storm in and hear my bedroom door slamming shut. 'What the fuck is going on?' I yell and I look around the room. No one is in here and from what I see nothing is missing. Then a motorbike starts up. My motorbike. I run back to the balcony and look down to see two people on my bike riding off down the driveway. I groan and stretch out an arm. One of my ravens flies down and lands on my arm.

'After them,' I whisper to it. I watch as it flies off and sit back down on the couch. Shutting my eyes, I let my conscious transfer to the raven. I swoop down and fly around to in front of the two thieves. Then I see who it is. Valarie is riding my bike while my brother holds on for dear life. Sighing, I transfer back to my body but not before calling my raven back to my room. There's a knock at my door. I call out for them to enter. Thor enters. He sees me standing in the middle of the room.

'What's going on?' He asks, raising an eyebrow.

'Your daughter just stole my bike and rode off.'

'Should I tell her to-'

'No. It will be fine. She'll return it once she's finished. Why are you here though?'

'I have no idea actually,' Thor replies. 'Oh, wait now I do,' Thor's voice changes into my father's as he transforms into my father.

'What?' I reply as I walk away and throw a snowball onto the fire, watching as the fire flickers out.

'So, when are you leaving?'

'Don't know yet. After the competition?' I glance over at my curtains and notice that they are still open. I flick my wrist and they slide close.

'Anything else I can do?'  I turn to him annoyed that's he still here. I gaze over to my book sitting on my chair next to the window. My birds perch on my father's shoulders as he gazes at me silently.

He sighs. 'I just wish we had spent more time together,' he mutters to himself.

I shrug and walk over to my chair signalling end of discussion. The birds fly up to the rafters while Loki walks out of the room.

A few hours later there's another knock on my door.

'What?' I yell. 'Can't I get any peace?' I grumble as I open the door. A guard stands there.

'Sorry to interrupt you but Mrs Valarie gave me your keys to return to you.'

'Oh finally. She didn't damage my bike, did she? What with all the wild riding around with no lessons,' I see the guard nervously swallowing.

'I am unsure miss.'

'You're new. Where did you come from?' I quickly ask as he goes to leave.

'I'm not new. I normally work outside.'

'Well in that case I should let you know seeing as you somehow don't know but you only call me Raven. There is no title or anything to it,' I warn him. I wait until I see him nod before I turn and enter my bedroom shutting my door.
